The latest combatant to make his way to the Injustice 2 roster is none other than Doctor Fate! The trailer shows off some of his spectacular looking moves and shows that his allegiances lie with Batman. Which makes perfect sense if you know about Superman’s weakness to magic so Batman recruiting Doctor Fate to his side is a wise move. Taking issue with Superman’s path to justice, Doctor Fate looks to stop him and set things right.
I think I’ve been spoiled by other fighting games because when you have two characters fighting in a bar the drunken audience watching better be just as into the fight as the people playing the game!
As far as new character skins go I’m hoping we get his original costume, his Young Justice costume, and the most recent vessel for Doctor Fate, Khalid Nassour from the DC Rebirth series!
Like the previous trailers for the game this one looks pretty amazing but I think I’ve been spoiled by other fighting games because there’s one problem with this one. When you have two characters fighting in a bar then the drunken audience watching better be just as into the fight as the people playing the game. Not looking too bored to bother watching some of DC’s baddest throw down right in front of them!
Injustice 2 will make it’s debut May 16th on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One!
