Dr. Bustos: I do love stories about a boy and his dog, and Krypto is one of the best fictional dogs, ever. A+

“Aesop’s Ark” #3 (Monkey Brains)
Jeff: Who needs inks and colors? This is a fantastically told and rendered story!

“Age of Apocalypse” #8 (Marvel)
Jeff: Decapitated Doom anyone?
NickZ: What a waste of Doom.
Infinite Speech: Looks like the power of the vagina trumps the power of Doctor Doom.

“Amazing Spider-Man” #695 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Can’t wait to see where this  new arc is going for Spidey!
Jeff: Camuncoli has got to go. This art is just not right for Spidey.
 

“Animal Man” #13 (DC)
Arnab: If you’re not already reading this, start now. This issue is haunting, gruesome, disgusting. In other words, it is flippin’ awesome. A
Dr. Bustos: Things are looking grim, but I’m liking this team Buddy is a part. A

“Avengers Academy” #38 (Marvel)
Jeff: Of course it had to happen–a flag football game! Unfortunately, Gage missed the opportunity to make this awesome.
NickZ: This was just dumb. I feel like I just read an after school special.

“Avengers vs. X-Men” #12 (Marvel)
Arnab: Cyclops single handedly, against every attempt by the Avengers, Beast, Wolverine, and especially Captain America to thwart him, brought back mutants from the brink of extinction. Long Live Cyclops! A
Infinite Speech: Half of this event bored readers and the other half rallied Cyclops fans. Either way, we all lose.
Jeff: Marvel has decided that instead of rebooting their entire line, they’re just going to set it back to 2004. What a shame this “event” was.
NickZ: The only thing this “event” did was make me hate the Avengers, Wolverine, Beast, and Captain America. FREE CYCLOPS!

“AvX: Vs.” #6 (Marvel)
Jeff: The mini-battles were a lot of fun, and even poke fun at this ridiculous series.
NickZ: Lots of funny bits. More enjoyable than the series it compliments. Also, Hope punching Scarlet Witch, WORTH IT!

“Batman: Detective Comics” #13 (DC)
Arnab: A new arc, a new creative team. Layman writes a wonderfully humorous story accompanied with fantastic art by Fabok and Cox. A
NickZ: Penguin strikes at Bruce Wayne in more ways than one.

“Batwing” #13 (DC)
Infinite Speech: Looks like Batwing might be getting his own sidekick and for some reason that suit really surprised me this issue.
NickZ: Batwing’s suit is way more powerful than I thought.

“Before Watchmen: Rorschach” #2 (DC)
NickZ: Of all the Before Watchmen books, I wouldn’t mind this one being an ongoing series.

“Danger Club” #4 (Image)
Jeff: So two of the main characters apparently bite the dust in this issue. Where will it go from here?

“Daredevil: End of Days” #1 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Wow! I love it when Ben Urich steals the show!

“Defenders” #11 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: The end of all things is getting real interesting and Silver Surfer is back with some startling revelations. A
NickZ: The Defenders continue to fight in a post apocalyptic future. Very touching Dr. Strange scene takes place.

“Doctor Who” #1 (IDW)
Jeff: Already missing the 11th Doctor, Amy, and Rory? You don’t have to wait until the Christmas special to get an awesome Doctor Who tale!

“Fatale” #8 (Image)
Dr. Bustos: I like showing what’s going on in the present and then why that has a connection to the past. A

“Green Arrow” #13 (DC)
Arnab: Is there a bigger baby than Ollie? He decides to skip town without telling anyone. He’s the one who loses his company. And now he’s worried about his technology falling into the wrong hands? Oh yeah, dropped. C-
Dr. Bustos: I like that Ollie has a new ally in China and hope his pilot buddy sticks around too. B

“Green Lantern” #13 (DC)
Infinite Speech: Off to a decent start here but if the Justice League are “heroes” why don’t they just talk to Baz first?

“Minimum Carnage Alpha” #1 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: I’m on board so far but the microverse people are really throwing me here.
NickZ: Okay, I was on board with Carnage taking on Venom and Scarlet Spider until the “tiny people” showed up. Meh.

“Road to Oz” #2 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Jeff made me read the first issue and this one is just as crazy.
Jeff: I’m convinced that L. Frank Baum was doing some serious drugs when he wrote this original story. Button-Bright gets a fox’s head for no apparent reason.

“Smallville Season Eleven” #6 (DC)
NickZ: With each new issue, I love this series more and more! I do think that Batman could be a bit more of a badass though.z

“Stormwatch” #13 (DC)
Infinite Speech: For some reasone I’ve always liked Etrigan!

“Swamp Thing” #13 (DC)
Arnab: Swamp Thing vs. Monster Teen Titans? Awesome! A

“Uncanny X-Force” #32 (Marvel)
Arnab: Knowing Betsy survives this, ruins this for me. B
Infinte Speech: Never will get tired of this book being so damn great!
Jeff: Oh, man, if that betrayal really sticks, then it SUCKS to be X-Force!
NickZ: Things just get worse and worse for this X-Force team. Is it karma? Deadpool is awesome!

“Uncanny X-Men” #19 (Marvel)
Arnab: This event proves what I have known for my entire life, Cyclops is the most awesome mutant ever. All Hail Cyclops, savior of the mutant race! A
Jeff: Way to pull a Hal Jordan/Parallax there, Marvel, for making one of the best heroes into a psychopath.
NickZ: Someone needs to kill Beast already. Team Cyclops all the way. I love the last panel.
