Original ‘Star Wars’ Trilogy Returns to the Big Screen!

It’s time to go back to a galaxy far, far away with the original Star Wars trilogy as it gets it’s big return courtesy of Alamo Drafthouse!
That’s right, you can see A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi during the Return of the Trilogy roadshow program starting in August!

The screenings will take place in over 20 venues with more to be announced later. You will be able to purchase tickets on Star Wars Day, May 4th, at ReturnoftheTrilogy.com !

“It’s always been a dream to show the original STAR WARS trilogy again – somehow, someway,” says Alamo Drafthouse’s VP of Special Events, Henri Mazza. “Seeing the original trilogy on the big screen for the first time is a real life-altering event and just a supreme amount of fun. When the films became available to book for screenings like these, we jumped at the chance to do something big.”

Also, these screenings will add more to your viewing experience with contests, special video content, and more! So make sure your hyperdrives are working and head out to experience this event when it comes to your area!

    I was excited for this for five seconds, until I noticed it’s the rerelease from the 90s. Which means it’s the “enhanced” versions with all the bullshit added CGI, Greedo shooting first, and Hayden’s ghost. I noped away really quick.
