Fans have been on the edge of their seats ever since it was announced that Rick Remender and Wes Craig’s Deadly Class would be adapted into a live action series on SYFY earlier this year! It’s been some time but not we’ve got some new info on the show courtesy of the Deadly Class panel at this year’s NYCC!
There has now been an official premier date revealed which will be January 16, 2019 at 10 p.m. along with a brand new trailer that fans were excited to see. So if you weren’t there to enjoy with the fans in attendance then sit back and enjoy it now!
Set in a dark, heightened world against the backdrop of late 80s counter culture, DEADLY CLASS follows the story of Marcus (Benjamin Wadsworth), a teen living on the streets who is recruited into Kings Dominion, an elite private academy where the world’s top crime families send their next generations. Maintaining his moral code while surviving a ruthless curriculum, vicious social cliques and his own adolescent uncertainties soon proves to be vital. Based on the best-selling 2014 Image Comics graphic novel by Rick Remender and Wes Craig, DEADLY CLASS is a coming of age journey full of ancient mystery and teen angst.

Is that Wong from the Doctor Strange movie? Never read the books but this show looks like it might be for me plus I can go into it without any preconceived ideas.
