Batman: The Brave and the Bold the Video Game Announced!

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced Batman: The Brave and the Bold the Video Game coming this fall for the Nintendo Wii and DS. Based off the popular animated series and comic series of the same name, the action-adventure game will feature co-op gameplay, allowing Batman to team up with heroes like Robin, Green Lantern, Blue Beetle, and Aquaman to solve puzzles and battle enemies.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold the Video Game further illustrates the diverse appeal of the Batman brand and the gameplay is a fun, vibrant extension of the animated series,” Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President of Development and Production, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment said. “The game’s co-op play offers kids, families and Batman fans an interactive way of experiencing the cartoon’s iconic characters.”

Players who own both a Wii and DS will be able to connect the two to unlock Bat-Mite. Players can control Bat-Mite with their DS to fight alongside Batman in the Wii version.

In Batman: The Brave and the Bold the Video Game players will journey through the crime-filled streets of Gotham City, alien planets, strange laboratories, and mysterious underground cities, fighting iconic villains with classic Bat-Gadgets like the Batarang and Bat-Grapple.

I know Batman: the Brave and the Bold is aimed at younger fans, and can’t hold a candle to Bruce Timm’s Batman: the Animated Series, but anyone whose seen the show knows it’s legitimately hilarious and an all around great show. Any episode with Aquaman is to be DVR’d immediately if you’ve never seen it.

Being the huge Batman fanatic that I am, I can’t wait for this game! Checkout The Comics Console for our full review as soon as Batman: The Brave and the Bold the Video Game drops.
