Not too big, not too small, Gentle Giant released a mini-bust that’s just as impressive as the Fett’s kill count for a mere (if you can still find it) twenty something bucks. Behold all five inches of the mighty hunter…and his jet pack:

Gentle Giant always does a good job with their figures and this bust is no exception. The amount of detail is actually surprising in a bust of this size. Every little scratch and ‘trophy’  is accurately rendered in painstaking detail.

The paint job is superb as well, showcasing just the right amount of shimmer and ‘battle grime.’ I am quite impressed with the entirety of the paint job. The shadows, specks, everything looks fantastic and further enhances the sculpt job. Speaking of which, if you haven’t already gathered, it is also quite dead-on. Every little section on his infamous jet pack, helmet, and his duty belt are incredible for the size. Another nifty little bonus: Fett’s signature trophy braid is actually fake hair. Yes, fake hair. On a bust. Collision of worlds!

This Boba Fett Bust is not only small in stature, but also pretty lightweight. It’ll still do as a viable paperweight option, but I wouldn’t put it somewhere your bad kitty could get a hold of it. With that said, however, the statue is packed solid with a sturdy base and doesn’t feel like it will break easily.

Overall, this is one of my favorite busts in my collection. It may not be as big as the others, but that doesn’t mean it’s not as striking. His backpack’s got jets…because he’s Boba…the Fett!
