The Justice League is out for the count and Batman is locked up, while Joker barely lifted a finger. Other villains have outsmarted Batman in the past, however none of them really compare to Joker’s doing. Scott Snyder has really done such a great job writing Joker. From his run on Detective Comics to Death of the Family and now to this, Snyder has written an amazing story for Joker. Greg Capullo, Danny Miki, and FCO do a superb job on the art for this issue. That Batman/Superman fight was one of the best fight scenes between the two of them, possibly ever. Capullo did an amazing job illustrating this chapter. The backup story was peculiar in an unnecessary way. It wasn’t necessarily a bad read, however, the actual story didn’t add much of anything to the main feature. 4.5/5

Just when you thought things couldn’t get worse for Batman, it does. Tommy Elliot is a criminal mastermind, and as of this past issue he now has access to all the locations where Batman keeps his stash of weapons throughout the city. Not to mention, Tommy is planning on using his new found Batman stash to frame Batman. Just when it seemed like this series had reached its peak with last week’s issue, everything starts to change. This fast paced action chapter looks fantastic and is wonderfully exciting to read. This creative team has somehow managed to keep a high level of quality on a weekly basis. The only thing to note, is that this series would probably be a tad bit more exciting if the story in the Batman title was not taking place after this series’ end. 4/5
