Martin: 4/5 stars. So glad the lackluster Two-Face arc is over. This is a return to form w/ great action & actual Robin stuff.
NickZ: Batman seeks out Ra’s Al Ghul searching for his son’s stolen corpse while Aquaman seeks vengeance for some…dead whales.
Birds of Prey #29 (DC)
NickZ: Ra’s Al Ghul (yes, he’s a busy guy this week) puts his manipulations into high gear as he attempts to eliminate the Birds in preparation for his strike on Mother Eve.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 10 #1 (Dark Horse)
NickZ: The new season of Buffy begins with surprises, reunions, resurrections, and of course new problems. I cannot wait for what’s in store for us!
Daredevil #1 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Great issue for a brand new reader but not may be my cup of hot chocolate.
Jeff: So that’s what all the hubbub has been about. This book was incredible.

NickZ: I’m not sure if i’m digging this book or not but then they reenact the whole Han/ Greedo Star Wars cantina scene and I’m all in.

Jeff Lake: It would really, really suck to be non-Family in this world. Rucka and Lark continue to challenge their characters.
Ms. Marvel #2 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Just as strong as the first issue and just might keep me around longer than expected.
Jeff: This book just feels so real. It’s a breath of fresh air.
New Avengers #15 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: I said it all in the review but things are looking really bad for the universe.
Nova #15 (Marvel)
Jeff: As much as I love David Baldeon’s work in this issue, he’s gotta redesign that starfish on Nova’s helmet.
Other Dead #6 (IDW)
Infinite Speech: Well that was fantastic B movie fun right there and if you didn’t read it then correct that mistake immediately!
Red Hood and the Outlaws #29 (DC)
Arnab: Red Hood and the Outlaws in space!!
Infinite Speech: I like how this title is sometimes outside the box and stays unique from the other New 52 books!
NickZ: A short lived rest leads to Roy trapped on a spaceship fighting a gang of aliens. So, no big deal, you know.
Sex Criminals #5 (Image)
Infinite Speech: Great story and art and it even comes with sex tips!
Jeff Lake: The first arc concludes as we learn more about Kegelface and her bondage draped cohorts. Never thought I’d write that sentence.
Shadowman #16 (Valiant)
Infinite Speech: This arc has had me hooked since it started! MORE!
Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi – Force War #5 (Dark Horse)
Infinite Speech: Great closer to yet another knockout Star Wars series from Dark Horse that does the franchise proud!
Suicide Squad #29 (DC)
Martin: 3.5/5 stars. Some nice bits of character interaction as the tie-in to Forever Evil, & the series, begin to wind down.
The Superior Foes of Spider-Man #10 (Marvel)
NickZ: Even this filler issue is better than most DC books. 2nd best line of the week: “Either this is a very sad bondage parlor… or villainy is at hand.” -Hercules.
The Superior Spider-Man Annual #2 (Marvel)
NickZ: Two really great stories that totally fit in with the whole Goblin War event.
Infinite Speech: Remember when annuals mattered? Well that happened right here folks!
Superman Unchained #6 (DC)
Martin: 4/5 stars. Strong Jim Lee art is hampered by a 3-month wait since the last issue. But a fun Dustin Nguyen epilogue.
NickZ: When Superman finds an enemy to powerful to defeat, he turns to Batman of course!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Utrom Empire #3 (IDW)
Infinite Speech: It’s sci-fi and the Turtles so how can it go wrong?!

Martin: 4.5/5 stars. The art in this is amazing, depicting Joe’s travels through Hell in an unnerving, horrific, creepy manner.
Thor: God of Thunder #20 (Marvel)
Jeff: Forget the Roxxon/environmental stuff. I just want to see Old King Thor and Galactus talk and fight.
Trinity of Sin: Pandora #9 (DC)
Martin: 4/5 stars. This is by far one of the best issues of the “Blight” story arc & also of this series in general.
Uncanny X-Men #19 (Marvel)
Arnab: Holy shit. Cyclops is about to rip this world apart.
Infinite Speech: Goldballs might end up being the funniest mutant ever! Great, intense issue worth every penny!
Jeff: Oh my sweet Lord this book was just fantastic in every way.
NickZ: Whomever is behind these Sentinel attacks has done pissed Cyclops off! Not a good move. Best line of the week: “Oh hey! My balls are working again.” -Goldballs
Wolverine and the X-Men #2 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Why did this title need to be renumbered again? Good issue and would probably be better with less Wolverine.
Jeff: Please, someone, leave the Phoenix idea alone. Please.
NickZ: Wolverine and the gang check out this “Phoenix Corporation” and see a future that’s not too appealing.
Wonder Woman #29 (DC)
NickZ: Besides Batman, this is the one DC book you should be reading! With gods dying, Olympus exploding, this “war of the gods” epic is outstanding.
X-Men #12 (Marvel)
Arnab: I kinda liked the mini story at the end better than the main story.
Infinite Speech: Nice updated costume for the Goblyn Queen but I’m tired of paying so much for only five pages of fun. I’m done ladies.
Jeff: Well, that went absolutely nowhere.
NickZ: So basically this entire story was just a vehicle to bring back Selene and Madelyne Pryor? Oh well, it was still cool seeing the X-Women kick ass and objectify dudes.
X-O Manowar #23 (Valiant)
Infinite Speech: Half his head was blown away and he gets back into the fight? It’s time to think about “talking it out”.
