Infinite Speech: The cliff hanger and what the Kingpin are up to was a bit more interesting than the end of this arc.
Jeff: This arc did nothing but turn the Lizard into the movie version. Bit of a letdown.
Avengers #29 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Why didn’t this come out closer to that Wolverine & the X-Men issue Marvel? Go ahead, I’ll wait.
Jeff: This book would have meant more if it had come out concurrently with the other AvX books.
NickZ: Wolverine is such a douche bag and I don’t even know what to say about Professor X.
Avengers Academy #35 (Marvel)
Jeff: So good to see Andrea De Vito on this book again. Love his work and am looking forward to how this series will end.
NickZ: The kid Avengers make a big sacrifice in order to help their friends.
Avengers vs. X-Men #10 (Marvel)
Arnab: I wish someone would rip off Xavier’s head and go bowling with it. What started out as a mild love story to the Avengers has quickly and disgustingly become a full on Avengers Worship Orgy. D-
Infinite Speech: Why do the Phoenix Five still want Hope if they have the power? But that thing with the dragon was pretty damn impressive!
Jeff: I really hate to see Cyclops and Emma become the villains. I liked it when it was more ambiguous.
NickZ: I hate that Cyclops is written as the villain in this.

Arnab: It may be an AU, but I couldn’t have been more pleased to see old man Xavier get tortured.

Infinite Speech: Hawkins is going to be pissed! Good to see the story continuing but I wish it looked better.
New Mutants #47 (Marvel)
Jeff: Finally, they got a decent artist on this book! If you liked Bill Sienkiewicz’s work from the ’80s, you’ll dig Felix Ruiz.
NickZ: Is it just me or is Cypher super annoying?
Nightwing #12 (DC)
Arnab: The villain was intriguing enough, but the real story is Dick going into business with Sonia. This book needs more Tim though. A-
NickZ: If they canceled this book and did a Red Robin book instead, I would be ok with that.
Pathfinder #1 (Dynamite)
Infinite Speech: I enjoyed my first forray into this world and it’s characters thanks to Zub and Huerta!
Red Hood And The Outlaws #12 (DC)
Arnab: I really truly wish that Rocafort wasn’t moving over to Superman and instead staying here. Still a good story though. B+
Infinite Speech: Missed Rocafort’s art in this one but Lobdell’s story has yet to drop the ball!
NickZ: I loved the Star Wars inspired cover and everything inbetween.

Infinite Speech: If Lester dies I’m dropping this title! Great second issue though!
Jeff: Seeley and Norton are doing something really special here. In just 2 issues, they have fleshed out a great cast of characters and a spooky premise, and delivered it with pristine artwork. Well done!

Infinite Speech: Looks like the first babysitter has bit the dust and it’s going to be a very long wait until November and issue number seven.
Jeff: What more can be said? This book is just awesome. The Will is officially my new favorite comic book character.
Supergirl #12 (DC)
NickZ: It makes no sense to me why Supergirl won’t trust Superman and let him help her. I am glad that they finally explained why her powers are different though.
Uncanny X-Force #29 (Marvel)
Arnab: Why is Betsy everywhere? All she does is whine about life. Maybe she should stop killing people.
Infinite Speech: Logan and Betsy?? Wow, he’s old enough to be her great, great, great, great, great…you get the idea.
Jeff: I hate to say it, but I’m sick of Psylocke’s whining. Move on.
NickZ: This series is just perfection.

Arnab: I don’t particularly care for Darwin. He’s a bit too powerful for my tastes.
Jeff: Badass Darwin is back! What more do you want?

Jeff: I thought this proto-mutant stuff was over??? Why is Wood dragging it out??
NickZ: It feels like nothing in this book is ever going to matter after the “Marvel Now” (not a) reboot.
