NickZ: This issue was pretty weak. Superman not wanting anyone to help and the villains acting all corny were both very lazy storytelling.

NickZ: Even knowing virtually nothing about the Shadow going into to this series, I am finding this book to be pretty amazing!

NickZ: The Beauty killer case just gets more complex as we delve deeper into the personal lives of the investigating team.
Ben Reilly the Scarlet Spider #2 (Marvel)
NickZ: This book is so bad but I’m going to give it one more issue before I call it quits.

Infinite Speech: I like where the story is going but not the art so much.

NickZ: I think Buffy and Willow are going to regret their decisions real quick.

NickZ: It seems no one can truly escape King’s Dominion. All the strings are getting pulled into what looks like it will be an epic climax!

NickZ: This was super confusing if you don’t regularly follow this book. There were too many time and location jumps without sufficient explanation.

NickZ: This book is amazing on so many levels. Doom has always been a great villain but he is so much more!

Arnab: I wish this book was about Hope. Or Rachel. Or Hope and Rachel.
NickZ: It was smart of Jean to assemble the previous Phoenix hosts to help here figure things out. Too bad they were no help at all.
Lumberjanes #38 (Boom!)
NickZ: The Lumberjanes family scavenger hunt goes about as well as you would imagine given their track record in those crazy woods.
Mosaic #8 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: It sucks that this is the final issue but that last page opens up some new possibilities about Mosaic’s direction.

Infinite Speech: This book is fantastic, cute, and creepy as hell and I want more right now!

Infinite Speech: I need something else to happen other than the crude humor and foul language. Where’s the story? There used to be story here!

NickZ: Just a story about a woman trying to take down a corrupt President, not very relevant at all! (sarcasm font)
Infinite Speech: Once again Hawkins is so on point with his storytelling it’s scary!

Infinite Speech: This is pure comic book fun right here! Moon Girl and Karnak are just hilarious together.

NickZ: Adam finally makes his choice and I doubt anything will ever be the same!

Infinite Speech: Everything about this issue is insanely fantastic and Stewart’s art is so detailed you’ll need to go back over and over to find the stuff you missed!

NickZ: A fun little story with an interesting twist ending.

Infinite Speech: Going to enjoy seeing what happens here and Robert Gill is a monster on the art!

NickZ: I love how they are playing the relationship between Eddie and the symbiote as some dark, twisted romance.

Arnab: Dear X-Men Gold, you’re old, tired, and boring. Sincerely, X-Men Blue. P.S., can you take this boy Wolverine off our hands, we don’t need him.
Infinite Speech: I guess every X-Men team needs a Wolverine just wish we could have gone longer without one.
