Hey there! Welcome to the beta version of ComicAttack.net!
This being the first official article of the site, I suppose an introduction is in order; I’m Andy Liegl, the founder of this here site. Nice to meet you my fellow comic book fan, I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot of each other! My mission is to usurp your inner geek on a daily basis. Here at ComicAttack.net we plan to provide you with opinionated entertainment and journalism that’s related to the comic book world, whetting your sequential appetite and fulfilling your comic book fix.
Some of the things you can expect from us aside from news, reviews, and previews are weekly and bi-weekly Columns that are jam-packed with quality information unique to the site. Some of these awesome journalistic gems include Wanted which is a descriptive biography of characters who are currently trapped in comic book limbo, The Comic Collector’s Wife which will provide a woman’s perspective on living with a comic book fiend, Bento Bako Weekly which features everything Manga, and Wacky Comic Wednesday where a new ridiculous comic book will be given the spotlight each week! We’ll also provide you with weekly review Columns that cover movies (Film Fatale), action figures/statues/busts (Gotta Have It!), and video games (The Comics Console), and much more!
That’s not all! Here at ComicAttack.net we like to go the extra mile with our bi-weekly web comic, Gin and Comics, and monthly Columns like Cosplayer of the Month, Guilty Pleasures (are you feeling naughty?), and This Comic is History where a relation is drawn between historical events and comic books! Plus, we’ll also be providing you with interviews from some of the hottest creator names in the biz, like Jonathan Hickman and Peter David! Sounds kick ass right? Well, you’ll be happy to know that the Columns named so far are only half of what you can expect from the all new, all powerful, ComicAttack.net!
