@Jeff — the London Beer Flood. Sounds like a good time, but it probably wasn’t.
@Nick Z — “First X-Men” is worse than “X-Men Forever?” That’s a tall order.
@Infinite Speech — You, of all people, I’m shocked loved “Star Wars” #1 so much. When the F did Leia EVER fly an X-Wing? WHEN!? And if she was that good, the Rebellion sure could’ve used all the pilots they could get during the Battle of Yavin… and you didn’t read “TMNT: Foot Clan” #1? WTF is wrong with you!?!?!?!?
Leia was already a trained pilot but if you remember she was too important to the cause and as the LAST surviving person from Alderaan (that we knew of at that time) there was no way she’d be put in an X-Wing to go destroy the Death Star. She’s also been shown to pilot an X-Wing in other Star Wars comics and novels.
I corrected the TMNT: Foot Clan mistake and picked it up. HOLY #$%@! This was wayyyyyyyyyyyy better than I expected and I’m diggin’ that it’s just not some historical account but stays in the current timeline of the other books as well. Great story so far!
