Cartoon Network announced its new programming for the 2010-2011 season, which includes DC Comics’ Young Justice.
“In Young Justice, being a teenager means proving yourself over and over – to peers, parents, teachers, mentors and, ultimately, to yourself. But what if you’re not just a normal teenager? What if you’re a teenage super hero? Are you ready to join the ranks of the great heroes and prove you’re worthy of the Justice League? That’s exactly what the members of Young Justice – Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis – will [find] out, whether they have what it takes to be a proven hero,” says Cartoon Network.
This series is produced by Warner Bros. Animation. Sam Register (Teen Titans, Ben 10, Batman: The Brave and the Bold) is the executive producer. Brandon Vietti (Batman: Under the Red Hood, Superman Doomsday, The Batman) and Greg Weisman (Gargoyles, The Spectacular Spider-Man, W.I.T.C.H.) are the producers.
“There’s much more to come from DC Entertainment,” said Geoff Johns, DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer. “This is just the beginning.”
The picture above looks more like a rebooted Teen Titans animated series than Young Justice, but if it’s half as entertaining as the old Teen Titans series, then this show is sure to be great; and better yet, Young Justice looks like it may be bringing some maturity to DC’s legion of side-kicks.
This is the third animated series starring known comic book characters this year; the others being The Avengers and Ultimate Spider-Man. There’s no word yet on when Young Justice will premiere, but check back with ComicAttack.net for more news and updates on Young Justice and other DC and Marvel animated projects.

Miss Martian looks weird. .. how does she even exist? All the Martians are dead.. .. i blame science fiction. everyone else looks really cool. im excited. Superboy should have his wristband. .. but only cuz i love wristbands.. whatever. >_<
@dakk
All the GREEN Martians are dead. Miss Martian is a white martian, she just makes herself look green using martians’ inherent ability as shapeshifters to avoid freaking people out. 99% of white martians are evil after all.
This looks like it might be okay. I just hope they have their Kid Flash acting more like he did as Impulse. He was far more entertaining before he serious-ed up.
Good day, great site, where did you come up with the info in this summation? Im relieved I found it though, I’ll be checking back soon to see what other articles you have.
