New Official Poster For ‘Vixen’ Season Two on CW Seed!

Last year DC’s Vixen made her solo series debut on the CW Seed! If you weren’t one of many who checked out the six episode series then you might want to correct that soon because it looks like there’s a second season coming this year! This means that the fans have spoken and I’m sure those weekly Vixen live tweet sessions hosted by Black Girl Nerds didn’t hurt either! Each episode was between 5-6 minutes making the first season roughly 30 minutes long and does a solid job at introducing us to Mari McCabe and her powerful Tantu Totem.

Season one of Vixen takes place during the third season of Arrow and not only does that title character appear, the Flash shows up and they are voiced by Stephen Amel and Grant Gustin. Vixen is voiced by Megalyn Echikunwoke who will also be playing the character when she makes her live action debut on season 4 of Arrow.

It was stated by CW President Mike Pedowitz that the format for Season 2 will mirror that of the first and consist of 6-7 mini episodes. He also mentioned that the episodes will likely be edited together and shown as a special on CW.

This looks to be a pretty big year for Vixen with both the animated series and making her first time live-action debut. Here’s hoping she makes a big enough impact to appear either on Legends of Tomorrow, or dare I say it…her OWN live-action show!
