Dark Horse Reviews: Solomon Kane: Death's Black Riders #4

Solomon Kane: Death’s Black Riders Issue #4
Publisher: Dark Horse Comics
Writer: Scott Allie
Artist: Mario Guevara
Cover Artist: Chad Vaughan
And now we take a moment to present a song, in tradition of another famous American song (see if you can guess which one):
Bye, bye, Mr. Solomon Kane Guy,
You slayed demon after demon, cause those demons must die,
Hopefully Dark Horse will bring you around for another time,
We had a good 4-issue run Solomon Kane Guy, come back soon Solomon Kane Guy..
.”
So here we are, the final issue of the awesome Solomon Kane: Death’s Black Riders mini-series. It’s been a great time provided to us by Dark Horse Comics, and for me personally it will be missed. Here’s hoping they will bring the character back for a third mini-series (on a side note: I hope they bring Kull back for a second mini on their Robert Howard adaptations).
The team of Scott Allie on writing and Mario Guevara on art, as mentioned in my previous reviews, have done nothing but awesome work with this mini-series and they give us an action packed conclusion, with non-stop brain-splatter, sword slashing, blood bursting fun! To sum it all up, this is the moment we’ve been waiting for. The Black Riders waiting in the woods make their move into the old Inn for a battle royal. With a lot of demon guts, we close up the issue with a bang. Great work here, guys!
In conclusion, the final issue comes out today, so get to your local shop and pick it up (or wait for the trade paper back to come out, either way, don’t skip on this title!).
