The first trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 has finally arrived and firmly places our heroine far from the battles of WWI and directly in the middle of the decade of excess! Backed by a booming version of New Order’s Blue Monday, Diana’s return comes with some new challenges and huge surprises. Most notably, Steve Trevor back 40 years after his demise in the first movie!
The trailer also gives us our first look at Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) and Barbara Minerva (Kristen Wiig) who comic fans might know better as one of Wonder Woman’s deadliest of adversaries, Cheetah!
The trailer delivers heavy on eye candy as we get a look at Wonder Woman’s new armor and shows off some lighting swinging action. Unfortunately we have to wait until June 5, 2020 to have our questions answered and see all the action in the latest entry into the DCU!
