On February 3rd finality will be brought to the Milestone Universe in the upcoming Milestone Forever two issue mini-series. The two universes were merged and though many of the Milestone, also known as Dakotaverse characters, showed up in the recent Justice League of America: Worlds Collide story arc, the only ones who know their two universes existed separately at one time are Icon, Superman, and Dharma. It was explained that to save the DC Universe and Dakotaverse when the space-time continuum was damaged, Dharma had to merge them using powers he acquired from Rift after his defeat in the first meeting between them in Worlds Collide: Rift Between Worlds.
What makes this even better is Milestone Forever will tie up the stories in the flagship titles: Static Shock, Icon, Hardware, Blood Syndicate, and Shadow Cabinet! Also it will bring together the original artists from the books, like John Paul Leon, Chris Cross, and Mark Bright, and will be written by none other than Milestone co-founder Dwayne McDuffie (Static Shock, Ben 10, Justice League Unlimited). So February 3rd be prepared, because it’s more than a title, it’s a proclamation! Milestone Forever!
