Ever since she was attached to Marvel’s Black Panther film many have speculated the role Letita Wright would be playing. Well it’s finally been confirmed during Disney’s presentation at CinemaCon that she will indeed be playing T’Challa’s sister, Shuri. A character that has been a fan favorite for years and also has carried the mantle of Black Panther in the Marvel comic series.
Leticia Wright now joins a star studded cast alongside Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Angela Basset, Forrest Whitaker, Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o, and more!
T’Challa also is featured atop a speeding car in the latest official set photo from Black Panther! You have to squint a bit to see him but it seems like riding on the outside of vehicles is still his preferred mode of transportation. Not as exciting as the video of the Dora Milaje riding on top of another vehicle but it’s still very early on and you know there’s more to come!
February 2018 can’t get here fast enough but if you need your Black Panther fix you can always read the comics or watch Captain America: Civil War and see the T’Challa beat up on Bucky!
