Marvel Studios really knows how to celebrate an anniversary and 10 years of record-breaking films are something to celebrate.
Marvel Studios, who are responsible for such films as ‘Iron Man’ (2008) and ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ (2018) have launched a new website that offers sweepstakes, contest, an official MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) timeline, and eye-popping golden character posters. The gold-themed glossy posters are our favorite MCU characters from over the years, actually 10 years, 19 movies, and counting. The posters also have a tagline that is specific to the character, for instance, Captain America’s says, “More Than A Shield” and Rocket’s says, “More Than A Trash Panda”.
As both a comic book fan and film buff, a decade of the MCU is worth celebrating. Some of my favorite movie moments this decade have actually come from the MCU. Seeing my favorite characters that I only read in the comics and seeing them soar through the sky, fight crime, and truly lay out the blueprint on how to make a cinematic universe for both fans and regular movie-goers.
