I just almost had full on heart failure. I opened up my May Previews book and there were NO solicits for Nova or Guardians of the Galaxy! Well, after some digging, I found out at Cosmicbooknews.com that Marvel assistant editor, Ben Morse, confirmed that both titles are NOT being canceled, but having a “skip month” for May.
Thank God! If Marvel was to cancel Guardians, I would drive to Joe Quesada’s house and demand that he be taken to the nearest asylum. I love Guardians and in my opinion the problem with the sales of the book isn’t quality of art or writing, it’s Marvel’s lack of advertising and keeping it relevant with the rest of the Marvel community. Consider yourself warned Quesada; cancel this series and I will personally lead the charge to boycott Marvel and Mickey Mouse! I will buy cheese and traps by the dozen, buy stock in Orkin and Terminix, whatever it takes to kill the rat. Don’t tempt me, I’m normally not this crazy, but don’t mess with the bull, or you’ll get the horns!

Yeah, so I guess the Guardians of the Galaxy may not be doing their job so well, huh?
