Back in 2008 IDW introduced comic fans to the Locke family in Locke & Key! The series from Joe Hill, Gabriel Rodriguez, and Jay Fotos was a hit with fans who walked the halls of Keyhouse with the characters as Hill took us on an emotional, violent, heartfelt, amazing ride while Rodriguez and Fotos provided art so stunning you went back time and again to pick out the details and hidden clues that intertwined with the narrative.
Now after several starts and stops, Locke & Key found a new home and will be get a live action adaptation coming to Netflix! The premiere date was announced by the streaming service with a brand new poster showing off the youngest member of the Locke family, Bode, with the enigmatic Head Key! Hopefully the key used was crafted by Skelton Crew who has been bringing the actual keys to life for fans of the series for several years now.

After their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father’s death. As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens — and will stop at nothing to steal them.
