Robert Kirkman, Corey Walker and Ryan Ottley helped bring about one of the most highly anticipated monthly comics for 13 years which culminated in 144 issues of what many consider to be comic book greatness. That comic was called Invincible and today Robert Kirkman revealed the new teaser trailer for the long awaited animated adaptation during the New York Comic Con Metaverse virtual event!

The series boasts a pretty impressive voice cast consisting of Steven Yuen, J.K. Simmons, Seth Rogen, Sandra Oh, Zazie Beatz, Mark Hamill, Grey Griffin, Kevin Michael Richardson, Jason Mantzoukas, and more!

Synopsis:

“From The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, and based on the Skybound/Image comic of the same name by Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, Invincible is an adult animated superhero show that revolves around seventeen-year-old Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who’s just like every other guy his age — except that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers that his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.

Though we don’t have a specific date as of yet, Invincible is scheduled to debut on Amazon Prime sometime in 2021.
