The first trailer for Terminator: Dark Fate is here along with a time-traveling killer machine’s worst nightmare, Sara Connor! She’s back and not alone as she’s joined by Natalie Reyes new character, Dani, who is being hunted by Gabriel Luna who plays a new terminator. His designation is unknown as of now but he’s an advanced version of the liquid metal T-1000 we met back in Terminator 2: Judgement Day. However, they’re not alone as Dani has a protector of her own in the form of Grace, played by Mackenzie Davis. Even our old friend, the T-800 shows up but he’s a little older now but still played by Arnold Schwarzenegger so maybe they’re taking some story points from Terminator: Genysis?

If you’re asking yourself how is all of this possible since Terminator: Dark Fate is a direct sequel to T2 just think of the other 2 attempted reboots and previous 5 films as a “bad dream” as James Cameron called them. Yeah, he’s back too as producer and Dark Fate is directed by Tim Miller.
