As the end draws near, the final and current Robin enters the picture, granted he plays little to no role in the issue. The real hero of the issue ends up being Red Robin, who even in his drugged up state of mind is able to shut down Mother’s hypnosis. With the revelations from this issue and the last, Mother’s whole story is slowly coming together. From Scarecrow’s involvement, to bringing in Spyral, to the entire Bat-family being involved, the pieces are starting to fall into place. And as useful as Batman is, it’s nice to see them all working together and decently handling themselves, even if two of them have been captured. In fact, it’d be nice if they let the series end without Bruce getting involved, in the present, and instead letting the “Robins” handle everything. 4/5

With the Robin situation handled and out of the way, Damian finally has a chance to get settled back in Gotham. First up on his list, naturally, is to check up on dear old dad. Considering Bruce is without his memories, this obviously taking place before last week’s issue of Batman, this ends up being rather emotional for Damian. However, it does convince him to stick around in town, instead of continuing his international adventures. In terms of the future, as short lived as that may be due to the upcoming DC Rebirth, this issue sets up the future possibility of Nobody’s return. She’s been a fun and entertaining addition to the series and it’d be great to have her back, however it’s always nice when a person, especially a kid, gets out of the hero/villain business. The best part of the issue is at the end when Damian introduces Goliath to the rest of his animals. With him having been introduced years ago as this heartless child with psychopathic tendencies, his family of animals is probably the best indication of how dramatically he has grown over the years. 4/5
