Arnab: This book is fantastic and that ending was wonderful.
Infinite Speech: I like everything about this series except Cypher.
NickZ: Quicksilver is definitely my favorite member of the team and he really shines in this one. What a touching ending too.
All-New Ultimates #6 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: Good end to that arc and everyone got time to shine.

Batman & Robin #34 (DC)
Arnab: I was pissed cuz Dick wasn’t there, but then he was, so it was all good.
Infinite Speech: The Bat family is back together and I kind of hope Bruce doesn’t make it because I really liked Grayson in the suit. But we know it won’t happen.
Martin: 4.5/5 stars. More great interactions between Batman & Luthor, including a touching moment. And awesome art!
NickZ: So great to see the Bat-Fam back together, but I still like the interactions between Batman and Luthor the best.
Batman Eternal #20 (DC)
Arnab: All that work and just died anyway.
Martin: 4/5 stars. Some nice interactions between Croc, Bard, & Bats, w/ both Gordons given their due. & a Spoiler-filled ending
NickZ: The art was not great but the story more than made up for it. Spoiler Alert: Stephanie Brown fans don’t want to miss this one.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 10 #6 (Dark Horse)
NickZ: As the gang is looking for a new place to live, they come face to face with their high school hopes and dreams.
Daredevil #7 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: I really like Matt’s mom.
Infinite Speech: It was a misunderstanding?!
Jeff: This Original Sin “tie-in” had a double twist, which I really appreciated, and ended up being a really good PSA.
Elektra #5 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Near perfect ending to the first arc and Del Mundo’s art is FANTASTIC!
Jeff: I would read a Bloody Lips & Cape Crow book all day…as long as Mike Del Mundo drew it.
Empty Man #3 (BOOM!)
Infinite Speech: Not too sold on the art overall but damn it adds to the creepiness of the title.

NickZ: Looks like Mags is sick of his broken powers and is willing to cross any line in order to power back up.

Dr. Bustos: As much as I loved the 70s story I’m glad we’re back in the present day with everyone interacting cause that is the best.

Dr. Bustos: Kamala Khan for this generation’s Kitty/Jubilee for Wolverine.
Infinite Speech: My smile embiggens whenever I read this because I was just asking myself if the Inhumans would ever get involved & G. Willow Wilson answers
Jeff: Leave Ms. Marvel on her own for a while. No team-ups!

Arnab: Uh, yeah. Gonna need to wait on the second issue to pass judgement.
Dr. Bustos: This story kind of hits you over the head with what it’s doing but I am excited for this unofficial DC/Marvel Team-up.
Infinite Speech: WTF did I just read?? Captain Carrot was the only thing that made sense and just barely at that! I’m going to need some help.
Martin: 4.5/5 stars. So glad I re-read Final Crisis before diving into this. Might read better as part of a trade, but great stuff.
New Avengers #23 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Does this mean Namor is a villain now? It’s definitely going to make it that much better when T’Challa kicks his face off!

Martin: 3.5/5. Lots of new answers in this issue but the “big reveal” bears too much in common with another current DC event

Infinite Speech: Great tie-in to Original Sin and several questions are answered.
Jeff: David Baldeon is such an amazing artist. I would love to see him on a higher profile book.

Infinite Speech: FINALLY! An issue I actually liked and it was worth it!
NickZ: The Dum Dum story and the finale of the Young Avengers story were both pretty good, while Chip Zdarsky’s short was super hilarious!

NickZ: Once again, I’m just not feeling stories centered around Starfire.

Jeff: So, was the telepath a bad guy or not? That was a bit confusing.

NickZ: An interesting turn to see Wonder Woman taking on Batman’s rogues in her own unique style.

Dr. Bustos: Gosh, I want this to last forever.
Infinite Speech: Nice change of pace with the Storm/Callisto dynamic
NickZ: I think Storm is having a mid life crisis and it’s not very fun to read. Also, I find her relationship with Wolverine gross and weird.
Supergirl #34 (DC)
Martin: 3.5/5 stars. Totally unnecessary as a “Doomed” tie-in but actually a nice look at Supergirl recovering from her anger issues.
NickZ: A crippled boy saves Supergirl so naturally she makes out with him. Not very important to the Superman Doomed storyline at all.
Super Secret Crisis War: The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy #1 (IDW)
NickZ: This Super Secret Crisis War is so great. If you watched these Cartoon Network shows as a kid, you need to read this crossover!
Teen Titans #2 (DC)
Arnab: This book is thriving after the reboot.
Infinite Speech: Beast Boy annoyed me but there’s a lot to the this issue that is just plain awesome
NickZ: They are really turning Bunker into a major player with the new uses of his power, too bad that they have totally changed his personality tho.

NickZ: I am loving the art in this book, Jason Howard is at his best. The story was getting a little slow but hopefully with the developments in this issue it starts to pick up the pace.
The Wicked & The Divine #3 (Image)
Arnab: That was a wicked good issue. 😉
Dr. Bustos: That went some strange places and I’m ready to keep following.
NickZ: Basically this book is Young Avengers on crack in the best possible way.

NickZ: This maybe my favorite Wolverine story that I’ve read all year. Jubilee fans won’t want to miss the major feels.
