Artifacts #14 (Top Cow)
Infinite Speech: Tom Judge finds out the truth to the “new” universe he lives in and the poop should be hitting the fan real soon!
Batgirl #6 (DC)
Andy: It just feels… superfluous. B-
Arnab: It’s not that this is bad, I just feel like this could be so much better.
NickZ: Aww Batman, what a big ol’ softy! What the hell is going on with Bab’s mom? She’s up to no good.
Batman and Robin #6 (DC)
Andy: YES! This is Damian’s book, and the emotion Bruce has portrayed throughout has been shocking. A
Arnab: This is great stuff. Damian is badass.
NickZ: Aww Damian, what a little ol’ softy. Cool flashback story about Bruce’s training.
Battle Scars #4 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: If you’re not reading this it’s because you’re too busy reading a crap book that’s disguising itself as good. This is a damn good mini series!
Black Panther: The Most Dangerous Man Alive #529 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: The end of the series is here but David Liss wrote 16 good issues of T’Challa finding himself and kicking ass!
Conan the Barbarian #1 (Dark Horse)
Andy: Everything I hoped it would be. Wood & Cloonan are a top 5 team in comics. A
Decapitated Dan: Now that is entertainment! Wood and Cloonan hit a home run on this one. I read it twice!
Daken #21 (Marvel)
NickZ: So Daken just goes right back to what he was doing (trying to hurt his dad) before this entire series started. I guess he can die now.
Arnab: Holy shit, now that is how you write Deadpool. Take note Remender. This issue was flippin’ awesome!
Dicks #1 (Avatar)
Andy: The back-ups were much more enjoyable than the main story. If you like Beavis and Butthead, you’ll dig this issue. C-
Ferals #2 (Avatar)
Andy: Not usually a horror guy, but I’m into this werewolf story by David Lapham! Warning: it’s a gory one. B
Huntress #5 (DC)
NickZ: Can I just say how amazing Marcus To is!! His art is carrying this book and the layout of the first page, just awesome!
The Last of the Greats #5 (Image)
Andy: It’s like “The Boys” met “Luther Strode” and beat the piss out of “Kick-Ass.” A-
Arnab: This book is filled with goodies for everyone.
Lobster Johnson: The Burning Hand #2 (Dark Horse)
Andy: Mignola’s non-Hellboy and BPRD stuff is my favorite. This and Lobster Johnson and Lord Baltimore are both excellent. A
Mister Terriffic #6 (DC)
Infinite Speech: Don’t let the cover fool you. This is not an interracial love story there’s actually a pretty good fight inside of this issue.
New Mutants #37 (Marvel)
Capekiller: First time I’ve enjoyed this series in a long, long time. Why? Because it focused on extramural activities that developed character as opposed to stupid, bloated stories.
Jeff: UGH! The one cool thing they had going in this book was Amara’s favor to Mephisto, and they completely screwed it up by being incredibly….normal!
NickZ: WTF? This was the worst issue EVER!! They just raped Mephisto! Also how much of a douche is Nate Grey with his never wearing a shirt?
Peanuts #2 (kaboom!)
Andy: Enjoyable, but the price tag complaint is legitimate. B-
Infinite Speech: 22 pages of story for four bucks. This is why I dropped other titles.
Penguin: Pain and Prejudice #5 (DC)
Andy: A great mini overall. Kudranski’s art is spectacular. B+
Infinite Speech: Great ending and Hurwitz and Kudranski kicked ass for this entire series!
Red Sonja #63 (Dynamite)
Andy: I know it’s sword and sorcery cheesecake, but it tastes good if you’re into that kinda thing! B-
Resurrection Man #6 (DC)
Andy: Finally, an issue without a lame sexual joke, pun, or comment. And it was actually good… or at least better than before. C+
Scarlet Spider #2 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Kane has decided to stay in Houston and I’ve decided to stay with this title!
NickZ: Stegman and Yost are tearing it up on this book. If you haven’t gotten on the Scarlet Spider express, now’s the time!
Secret Avengers #22 (Marvel)
Capekiller: I had dropped this series for a while because it made no sense. This issue shows me that Remender has really righted this bus! He is the man right now!
Jeff: I think Remender has done it again!
NickZ: My first time reading this book. Hawkeye and Captain Britain will keep me coming back for more.
Severed #7 (Image)
Andy: Nice ending! Not sure how Jack got around with a wound like that, but the final few pages did it for me.
Arnab: Fantastic end. Totally creepy, totally worth reading.
Decapitated Dan: Only thing I can say… is I am sorry I bought all the issues. Anyone want to buy the set?
Snake Eyes #10 (IDW)
Infinite Speech: The new Commander has plans and Storm Shadow is finally about to make his move against his sword “brother”! It’s. About. To go. Down.
Spawn #216 (Image)
Infinite Speech: This is hands down one of my new favorite titles and a constant in my pull box thanks to a better release schedule!
Star Wars: Agent of the Empire – Iron Eclipse #3 (Dark Horse)
Infintie Speech: Feels good to take a chance on title and everything about it just blows you away!
The Strain #3 (Dark Horse)
Decapitated Dan: Now this is a horror series! Another amazing issue that you need to read!
Superboy (DC)
Arnab: Supergirl feels like Power Girl. Superboy has a lot of powers. Rose Wilson has two eyes, but we knew that.
NickZ: Superboy basically just flies around fighting people because he doesn’t have a clue about anything. That pretty much sums up this book.
Thief of Thieves #1 (Image)
Decapitated Dan: Meh, not interesting enough for me.
Venom #13.1 (Marvel)
NickZ: This is actually a pretty great story so far. I wish I knew why Ghost Rider is a chick though.
Wolverine & the X-Men #5 (Marvel)
Arnab: Why doesn’t Kitty just phase the pests out of her body? And seriously, Angel loses control of his company and still nobody has a problem with this?
Capekiller: I like the new twist on the Brood, could care less about the new space baddie introduced, and am a little worried that Quentin Quire is becoming over-exposed.
Jeff: The amount of characters, story lines, and great moments that Jason Aaron is balancing here is simply amazing.
NickZ: Still a very fun book, but it is getting old now and they are taking things a bit too far.
Wolverine & the X-Men: Alpha & Omega #2 (Marvel)
Arnab: I dig this story. The only thing that bums me out is that there’s no way the higher ups would allow Wolverine to be bested by Quire.
Capekiller: A nice departure from the big event books with this stand alone story. More Quire though…
Jeff: I’m not quite sure why this story needs to be told.
NickZ: Sometimes Quentin is cool and sometimes he just seems sad and pathetic like in this book.
X-Men #24 (Marvel)
Arnab: Interesting enough story, though I don’t really care what happens to Jubilee.
Capekiller: For the first time in her comic history, I am interested in Jubilee!
Jeff: Gischler is back doing what he knows best on this title…mutants & vampires!
NickZ: A very cool Jubilee story. I know, I never thought I would say that either.
Be sure to catch up on all past Chirps here!

I love how opposite our opinions are ( like mine and Arnab’s on Jubilee)
Opposite opinions are what comics are all about! Woot
So is Andy’s grading of the books new or have I just not noticed this before?
I’m gonna go with “new” lol
It’s a new thing.
And if you think you were surprised, while I was working on the post I kept thinking he left off in the middle of a sentence until I noticed one that had minus.
For all of you liking X-Men right now and the whole Jubilee thing, you NEED to read Wolverine & Jubilee #1-4. It’s also in TPB now.
It’s all about Wolverine working with Jubilee to quell her bloodlust. Great stuff, and the Phil Noto art makes it top of the line.
