Action Comics #38 (DC)
Martin: 4/5 stars. I’m really liking the horror aspect to this story line – Pak & Kuder have done a great job making it creepy.

All-New X-Factor #19 (Marvel)
Arnab: Note to self, Danger is scary as hell.
NickZ: Danger was great in this issue, but X-Factor fighting the supernatural just doesn’t feel quite right.

The Amazing Spider-Man #12 (Marvel)
NickZ: The giant robot Spider-Man is now cannon!!!
Infinite Speech: Is it me or is Spider-Verse THE best Marvel event to come out in a while?!

Angel & Faith #10 (Dark Horse)
NickZ: Amy gets back to her roots and a very welcome, very unexpected face returns in the final panel.

Angela: Asgard’s Assassin #2 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Wow! Didn’t think I’d laugh so much reading this but it was a pretty good issue!

Batman: Detective Comics #38 (DC)
Martin: 4.5/5 stars. This deserves a high score for the visuals alone, but the story is also intriguing.
NickZ: Manapul and Buccellato continue their fantastic run with the second part of the Anarky story line.

Batman Eternal #40 (DC)
NickZ: Everything just keeps going from bad to worse for the Bat-Family. I don’t think they can take much more.

Deadly Class #10 (Image)
NickZ: This issue went from disgusting to kick-ass without losing the personal drama going on throughout.

Death of Wolverine The Weapon X Program #5 (Marvel)
NickZ: The series ending was pretty much already spoiled by the final issue of the Logan Legacy two weeks ago.

Earth 2 #30 (DC)
Martin: 3/5 stars. Seems like a filler issue – basically just bios of the different avatars, except for Grundy. No story advancement.

Earth 2 World’s End #14 (DC)
Martin: 3.5/5 stars. Honestly this story just feels like it’s falling apart. But dig those awesome Sorrentino covers!

Eternal Warrior : Days of Steel #3 (Valiant)
Infinite Speech: Stories like this have made the Eternal Warrior one of the standout characters from Valiant!

The Fade Out #4 (Image)
Martin: 4.5/5 stars. My “book of the week.” Just dripping with Hollywood noir sensibilities, both written & visual.

Iron Fist: The Living Weapon #8 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Kaare Andrews leaves no doubt as to why Iron Fist needs his own series because this story hits harder than a three section staff!

IX Generation #1 (Top Cow)
Infinite Speech: Hawkins & Sejic are making this my favorite part of the Top Cow Universe!

Hawkeye vs Deadpool #4 (Marvel)
NickZ: I can’t get over how hilarious this series has been! Marvel needs to make this an ongoing series with the same creative team.

Lady Killer #1 (Dark Horse)
Infinite Speech: Don’t let the high heels and pretty smile fool you. If her mission is to end your life, consider it done! Great first issue!

New 52 Futures End #36 (DC)
Martin: 3/5 stars. Stormguard’s “origin” (meh), and Constantine’s still as ass in the future. Nothing much happening.

Robocop #7 (IDW)
Infinite Speech: Now THIS is the Robocop everyone should be reading! This issue also wins for best decapitation of the week thanks to Williamson & Magno!

Shaft #2 (Dynamite)
Infinite Speech: Walker & Avely start Shaft on his path of becoming a private detective but first he’s gotta deal out some old fashioned revenge!

Spawn #249 (Image)
Infinite Speech: I’m still too excited about the return of Al Simmons but this issue is another McFarlane & Kudransky page turner!

Spider-Man 2099 #7 (Marvel)
NickZ: Punisher 2099 was in this issue, what more do you need to know?

Storm #7 (Marvel)
NickZ: The last few issues have shown improvement but they still only bring this series up to okay, and if okay is the best they can do, they shouldn’t.
Infinite Speech: It’s been a slow burn but Pak is giving us a better Storm than we’ve seen in a long time!

Trees #8 (Image)
NickZ: I was not emotionally prepared for this issue! Warren Ellis and Jason Howard are monsters!

Wolverines #1 (Marvel)
NickZ: Mr. Sinister is a beast! He took this book from lame to insane in 2.5 seconds!
Infinite Speech: Just when I was dozing off Mr. Sinister shows up and makes it all better!

Wolf Moon #2 (Vertigo)
Infinite Speech: Best werewolf story I’ve read in quite some time! So can issue three come out already?

The Woods #9 (Boom!)
NickZ: This strange new world just gets more and more intriguing with each new issue.

X-Men #23 (Marvel)
NickZ: Yes, the X-Ladies do in fact get their asses kicked by a thunderstorm and a hole in the ground.
Infinite Speech: Why am I still reading this title? If Marvel won’t take it seriously then I won’t.
