Jeff: So glad that Skinner stayed a little more true-to-character. This issue really built the momentum this arc has been missing.

“Aquaman” #13 (DC)
Arnab: This title is easily becoming one of DC’s best. The supporting cast is superb, the story is interesting, and the art is gorgeous. A-
Dr. Bustos: I’d like to see more of these other heroes, I wish DC wouldn’t be so adamant about killing off new characters. B
Infinite Speech: Then ending reminded me of an 80s cartoon. A bit too nice and tidy for me.
“AvX: Consequences” #4 (Marvel)
Arnab: I would gladly welcome a Scott Summers led Brotherhood and that poor boy’s death just might do the trick. And can I just say, the Avengers have probably killed more humans than Scott ever could. A
Jeff: You can always count on Magneto to change the course of a boring story. Plus, Mark Brooks should do more interior work.

Arnab: Loved it. Best issue yet. Catwoman was beyond perfect, she was the hero. A

Jeff: What would happen if the Joker or Charles Manson tried to go straight? If you like villains, this is the book you need to be reading!
Infinite Speech: This creative team has put together something awesomely creepy that NEEDS to be read!

Dr. Bustos: Carol time traveling has been a lot of fun and I’m glad to see her get a Back to the Future style friendship. A

Arnab: A sort-of love story for the ages. Sort of a brief romantic interlude, before the real fight begins. A-
“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” #15 (IDW)
Arnab: Enter Slash. This book is f’n fantastic. The story is awesome. The art is wonderful. The humor is, well, funny. If you consider yourself a TMNT fan, you’ve got to be reading this book. A
Infinite Speech: The guys get their butts kicked by a classic TMNT villain. They need more training.
“Ultimate Comics Spider-Man” #16.1 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: I wish Ultimate J. Jonah Jameson had his own series. B
Jeff: Wow….a fantastic issue that didn’t really have Miles in it at all. And that ending! Whoa!

Infinite Speech: Great cover but the story was the cure for insomnia. Oh, and the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe called and would like their format back. Thanks Seeley.
“Wolverine & the X-Men” #19 (Marvel)
Dr. Bustos: Plenty of comedy to help out with all the serious stuff going on, Beast being a great doctor and a cavalcade of potential teachers. A
Jeff: This book feels hokey when Nick Bradshaw draws it. The humor doesn’t quite come across as well.
Infinite Speech: Meh, was a bit all over the place and instead of being funny it was a bit more annoying.

Jeff: That cover is one of the greatest X-Men team shots ever! I need a poster of that!
