Aliens: Dead Orbit #2 (Dark Horse)
Infinite Speech: THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER SEARCH DERELICT SHIPS IN SPACE!! James Stokoe is also nailing what’s great about the sci-fi/horror aspect of Alien in these pages!
Black Science #30 (Image)
NickZ: That feeling when the Eververse throws up on you because it’s tired of your s***! (Looking at you Grant McKay!)
Cable #1 (Marvel)
NickZ: This was the weakest first issue of a series that I’ve ever read. Not only does Cable barely speak, but there is never any explanation of anyone’s motivations.
Infinite Speech: I want my money back.
Captain America: Sam Wilson #22 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Sam is doing his part but doesn’t want a place in the big fight anymore. Let’s see how long that lasts.
Deadpool #31 (Marvel)
NickZ: Deadpool has killed a lot of people in his time, but this kill was truly shocking!
Deadpool vs Punisher #4 (Marvel)
NickZ: I don’t care who you are, that Deadpool & Punisher vs Taskmaster fight was awesome!
Doctor Strange #21 (Marvel)
NickZ: Why is it that Doctor Strange is the only magic user in the Marvel Universe who seems to be struggling with the fact that most of the Earth’s magic is gone?
Infinite Speech: Not a bad tie-in to Secret Empire and it delivered quite a few laughs courtesy of DD and Spider-Woman.
Flash #23 (DC)
Infinite Speech: A good old fashioned team-up starring my least favorite Green Lantern but still a solid issue.
Generation X #2 (Marvel)
NickZ: I am not a fan of the art in this book.
InseXts #11 (AfterShock)
Infinite Speech: Marguerite Bennett delivers some sweet comeuppance in another bloody and visceral issue that does the macabre proud!
M.A.S.K.: Mobile Armored Strike Kommand #7 (IDW)
Infinite Speech: This Hasbroverse is kicking all kinds of butt thanks to comics like this one!
Moon Knight #14 (Marvel)
NickZ: Lemire, Smallwood, and Bellaire took Moon Knight to his breaking point on his most surreal journey ever and he came back from it stronger than ever!
Occupy Avengers #7 (Marvel)
NickZ: While Cap is off leading Hydra, Hawkeye is defending undocumented, alien refugees from persecution because he is the best Avenger!
Infinite Speech: Tilda is my favorite character in this series! So glad Walker found a home for her here!
Old Man Logan #24 (Marvel)
NickZ: “Past Lives” ends with a very emotional finale and a new beginning for Logan.
Romulus #4 (Top Cow)
Infinite Speech: Hill’s dialogue is as razor sharp and on point as Blake’s artwork so there’s the best two reasons to have Romulus on your pull list!
Saga #43 (Image)
NickZ: Abortion Town! Transgender issues! Dung People! Saga has all of this and much more for only 25 cents!
Infinite Speech: So much awesome continues in this series and it’s even a solid jumping on point if you’ve been gone a while! But who ever leaves Saga?
Secret Empire #3 (Marvel)
NickZ: I hate that the problems of the world are so easily solved by the bad guys. Complex world problems can never be solved so simply no matter your tactics.
Infinite Speech: Guess this midpoint issue had to slow things down but kudos to Namor for screwing Cap and nice shoutout to Wakanda for kicking butt as well.
Sex Criminals #19 (Image)
NickZ: Fraction and Zdarsky have given us so much over the years, but “The Wide Wiener” song may be their greatest gift to mankind!
Teen Titans Special #1 (DC)
NickZ: WHY DOES DC HATE WALLY WEST? F*** DAMIAN WAYNE!
Infinite Speech: I spend time defending Damian Wayne and this issue goes and makes ALL of my arguments invalid. I hate that kid now.
Think Tank: Animal #3 (Top Cow)
NickZ: Where else can animal assassins, the beginning of world war 3, and the troubles of online dating all make perfect sense in the plot of a single story?
Infinite Speech: When a series like Think Tank has been this good for this long you just never want it to end!
Trinity Annual #1 (DC)
NickZ: I like the way they are exploring the Trinity as an actual metaphysical thing, and the idea of a Trinity of Trinities is intriguing!

That Wally West blurb is troubling. Did they “kill” him again?? Please say they didn’t kill him!
