Arnab: This book is gorgeous. This book is amazing. This book does character development remarkably well.
NickZ: This book is so great at revealing a character’s back story so well that it changes your opinion on them instantly.

Arnab: Why they gotta go and make Nightwing an ugly monster?
NickZ: Batman stories work so much better when he is fighting figurative monsters instead of literal ones.
Doctor Strange Annual #1 (Marvel)
NickZ: Stephen Strange is one of those heroes with some shady ways that make you question why you like him in the first place.
Eden’s Fall #2 (Top Cow)
NickZ: HOLY S*%#! They aren’t playing around or pulling any punches! Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor.
Infinite Speech: WHY Hill?! WHY?? I had to put the issue down and walk away then come back after a hug.

NickZ: This series just gets worse and worse. The sad part is that we all know Jeff Lemire is better than this.

Infinite Speech: Just when you think you’ve seen EVERYTHING you get a character like Gamete or the Zygos Twins. Another title from Valiant that’s worth the cover price folks!

NickZ: This book is great at taking your expectations and running a totally different way with them.
M.A.S.K.: Revolution #1 (IDW)
Infinite Speech: Easton and Vargas just gave me a reason to pick up this series when it becomes an ongoing!

Infinite Speech: I can’t get enough of this series now. So mad that I slept on it in the beginning.

Arnab: This is easily the best Deadpool book out there. The Spidey-Pool dynamic is the best.
Teen Titans Rebirth #1 (DC)
Arnab: Damian is weird in this. After everything he’s been through, he knows better than to kidnap your new teammates.
NickZ: I already like this better than the last Teen Titans run, plus the art is so amazing!
Infinite Speech: This intro was a little shaky but damn that art from Jonboy is pure fire!
Titans #3 (DC)
Arnab: I didn’t realize how much I had missed some of these characters until this series started.
Infinite Speech: I’m just not getting excited about this one.
The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #12 (Marvel)
NickZ: Doreen is totally bringing down everyone’s positive Canadian vacation vibes. Not cool Doreen, not cool!
Totally Awesome Hulk #10 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Black Panther vs Hulk was great but so ready for Civil War II to just end.
Ultimates #11 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: The artist switch was jarring but that was one hell of a fight to take out Thanos. Then the Civil War II stuff started and the book became boring.
Wayward #16 (Image)
NickZ: Wayward is back with new drama, new mysteries, new folklore, and all with an Irish spin!
Infinite Speech: Everyone on this title is giving it 110% and it shows in every issue!
X-Men’92 #7 (Marvel)
NickZ: I can’t believe how much they can squeeze into this book without making it feel cluttered.
X-O Manowar #50 (Valiant)
Infinite Speech: All good things must come to an end but hopefully Valiant is bringing Aric back soon!
