July is here and the final countdown has begun for SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON 2010. Here at TITAN BOOKS, things are gearing up for our biggest Con to date, with star guests, top giveaways, and an enviable prize draw on our BOOTH 5537.

Comic-Con Special Guest DREW STRUZAN will be signing copies of his new book THE ART OF DREW STRUZAN in Autograph Alley (AA19) on Saturday Jul 24 at 11am! Collecting never-before-seen comps and sketches, alternative concepts and work-in-progress art alongside his inimitable finished posters, this awesome coffee-table book won’t be available anywhere else until September, so this is your chance to bag an early copy and meet the man himself in an extremely rare personal appearance. He will also be appearing in a panel on Friday Jul 23 at 5pm in Room 7AB.

And that’s not the only early release we’re letting Con-goers in on! Booth 5537 will also be the only place you can get hold of a copy of the brand new TANK GIRL: SKIDMARKS trade paperback, signed by Alan Martin and Rufus Dayglo, and signed advance copies of the gorgeous SIMON AND KIRBY SUPERHEROES! With a specially designed bookplate featuring Fighting American and Speedboy, these copies are signed by Joe Simon himself; plus a limited number are also signed by Neil Gaiman, who provided the introduction to the book, giving fans two autographs for the price of one! Outside of their work for Marvel and DC, this hardback compendium features all of the duo’s finest superhero stories and characters, including Fighting American, The Fly, Lancelot Strong and The Stuntman, fully restored to their original glory.

You’ll be able to buy exclusive signed copies of BEETLE BAILEY 1965: THE DAILY & SUNDAY STRIPS, a hardback gift-book collection of MORT WALKER’s forever young and forever lazy Army Private, celebrating the character’s 60th anniversary. Check out this year’s Souvenir Booklet for a special celebrity celebration of Beetle Bailey, with contributions from a whole host of artists including Joe Kubert, Arnold Roth, EC Comics legend Jack Davis, Muppets illustrator Guy Gilchrist and Garfield creator Jim Davis, alongside Mort Walker and Brian Walker.

Titan’s Booth 5537 will be a hotbed of sneak peeks and giveaways, plus our biggest ever prize draw to win a 32GB iPAD! We’ve got two to give away, so stop by Booth 5537 and fill in an entry!

We’ll be showing off artwork from the upcoming ICONS: THE DC COMICS AND WILDSTORM ART OF JIM LEE, and giving away free samplers of the first chapter from RUNESCAPE: BETRAYAL AT FALADOR, a brand new novel spinning out of the world of the world’s biggest free MMORPG.

JOSS WHEDON fans will be in their element at Titan’s Booth – not only will we have sneak peeks of DR. HORRIBLE’S SING-ALONG BLOG BOOK, but if you buy a copy of FIREFLY: STILL FLYING, and you’ll receive a free replica bill of the beautifully designed paper currency used in Firefly.

Zack Snyder’s SUCKER PUNCH will have a presence at the Warner Bros. panel at 11:45-1.15pm on Saturday July 24th in Hall H and Titan Books has designed a CON-EXCLUSIVE BOOKMARK featuring first-look artwork from the film, which we’ll be giving away on our Booth 5537, while stocks last. Titan will be releasing SUCKER PUNCH: THE ART OF THE FILM BY ZACK SNYDER in Spring 2011 with the film’s release.

Join a host of Creature and VFX luminaries for an amazing celebration of Stan Winston’s impact on the art of Character Creation in THE WINSTON EFFECT panel Saturday 24 July 5:30-6:30, Room 7AB, then head on over to the Stan Winston Studio Booth to buy limited, exclusive copies of Titan Books’ THE WINSTON EFFECT, signed by Stan Winston himself! The Stan Winston Studio booth will also be displaying suits from IRON MAN and AVATAR, and making an exciting announcement about the new Stan Winston School venture.
