And so we come to a fifth Wednesday this month, and unlike the old days of filler books, annuals, quarterlies, etc., today we have quite a few regular issues coming out. And what does our staff intend to pick up this week? Listed below you’ll find details on each new book that the crew is checking out, followed by their individual pull lists and picks of the week! Take a look, it’s a great way to plan out what your trip to the comic shop should entail, and there might even be something you may have missed otherwise.
First up, though, we have our Books of the Week. This week we have Marvel’s Amazing Spider-Man #657 taking the top spot on our combined pull lists. While Image/Skybound’s Walking Dead #83 was the most read book amongst our staff and on two staff members picks of the week, as well as being the top book on our combined lists from a small publisher. Other favorites of our staff include DC’s Green Lantern Emerald Warriors #8 & Green Arrow #10, and Marvel’s Age of X Universe #1.
