Welcome to Comics Are My Religion, a look at theology through the lens of comic books. There are some basic ground rules about engaging in respectful dialogue about religion in this column.
Back by popular demand (well, at least one of you said you liked it) is another Comics Are My Religion Podcast! This month, I’m joined by author and Baylor University English Professor Greg Garrett. Greg has written a ton of books, like Holy Superheroes!: Exploring the Sacred in Comics, Graphic Novels, and Film; The Gospel Reloaded: Exploring Spirituality and Faith in the Matrix; We Get to Carry Each Other: The Gospel According to U2; and most recently The Other Jesus: Rejecting a Religion of Fear for the God of Love.
Greg is passionate about the connection between religion and culture, so he has written on a variety of topics stretching across all types of media. In our conversation, we talked about everything from comics to superhero movies, so check it out!

Great interview. I’ll be looking for some of his books.
You definitely should. Very good, very accessible, and very thought-provoking.
