On the heels of Top Cow’s announcement of the new artist taking over starting with Artifacts #5, we have a preview of Artifacts #2 which hits shelves THIS coming Wednesday! The daughter of Jackie Estacado and Sara Pezzini, otherwise known as the Darkness and Witchblade, was kidnapped last issue, and to top it off, a longtime character was killed in the process. Now Ron “Insufferable” Marz and Michael Broussard bring us the next chapter of Top Cow’s thirteen issue event!
I really can’t wait to pick up this issue, and I suggest that if you’re either new or a longtime fan of these characters that you pick up Artifacts as well. With cover A by Ryan Sook (Magdalena), and Stjepan Sejic (Witchblade, Angelus) delivering a great New York Comic Con 2010 Variant, this book is going to look great inside and out! Marz and Broussard’s Artifacts #2 hits shelves September 29th, and if you missed out on Artifacts #1 don’t worry, because if you haven’t heard it went to a third printing making it all the more available!
