This Saturday night from 7pm-10pm at Collector’s Paradise in Los Angeles is the Artifacts #1 release party!
In attendance will be the artist of the book, Michael Broussard, inker Rick Basaldua, and Top Cow publisher, Filip Sablik! On display in the Collector’s Paradise art gallery will be every single page of original artwork from the issue for attendees to view up close and personal. The store will also be selling their exclusive cover of Artifacts #1 and an exclusive limited edition print. Plus, free beer and snacks!
Here’s the official press release from Collector’s Paradise:
“This Saturday night, there is nothing better to do than to come down to the store. We are using up ALL our tricks, putting on a show of all shows. Three people signing, Original Art on display in the Gallery (it’s amazing, trust me), original EXCLUSIVE Cover (only 500 made) and an EXCLUSIVE print which will only be sold at the store (only 100 made) plus all our usual perks like Free Beer and sodas and snacks (and maybe some really cool pizza, too).
But more importantly, it’s THE BOOK. Seriously, we have given away several hundred copies of the zero issue since FCBD, and there has not been another book that I felt will change the company that is putting it out SO MUCH, and become so important and such a great jumping on point. Ron Marz is a Master storyteller and Michael Broussard’s art is ridiculous and this book will propel him to new heights in this industry. And it’s your chance to see the ORIGINALS on display, and hang out with the creators.”
RSVP to the event via Facebook, or just show up with your party face on! Collector’s Paradise is located at 7131 Winnetka Ave, on the corner of Winnetka Ave and Sherman Way, in Canoga Park. It definitely is Aron, I’ve read it about three times now lol
When does the regular edition come out?
Yesterday. lol
John Tyler Christopher does some EXCELLENT covers! I remember the one he did for Witchblade #129 and I liked it better than some of Sejic’s work.
