Last week I got to attend the Clark’s Originals X Marvel Black Panther Trigenic EVOs release party and one thing kept rattling around in my mind. Why not go with the obvious shoe company choice, Puma. Puma’s brand logo is jumping feline, typically seen as a black silhouette. So a Black cat and a black cat should just go hand in hand, thankfully the launch of not one but two collaboration shoes are on the way this week from Puma, BAIT, and Marvel.
Both shoes are produced in a limited run the Puma Tsugi Blaze Of Glory ($150) only has 300 pairs and the Mostro Mid ($160) has only 100 pairs. Both feature EVOknit uppers, BAIT branding, and Black Panther logo insoles. The Tsugi Blaze Glory has two options for laces – black rope and black 3M rope while the Mostro Mid has a elastic lacing system. The limited shoes go on sale online February 10th, 2018 online only. Those Pocket Monsters know no bounds as some of their most iconic characters are set to trample wallets as they are featured in a line from FILA South Korea.
Using the Classic Kicks B silhouette the six shoes feature Bulbasaur, Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, and Jigglypuff. Each shoe comes in a cylindrical shoe box in the shape of a pokéball. The collection is set to release on February 9th, 2018 and a event honoring the release will take place on February 10th, 2018 at ABC Mart GS Hongdae point.
