AVX: VS. #1 (Marvel)
Arnab: Utter nonsense. This book is essentially calling the Avengers winners, but only because the X-Men gave up. Iron Man beating Magneto? Jason Aaron should just stick to writing Wolverine. C-
Infinite Speech: This issue delivers the action the main series doesn’t. I don’t know if that’s a good or a bad thing.
Jeff: Now this is what AvX should be like. Why mess it up with a plot? Although Iron Man beating Magneto is a stretch.
Battle Scars #6 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Solid mini series but it takes some of the impact away from the Ultimate version of Nick Fury.
Batman The Dark Knight #8 (DC)
Arnab: This book is starting to feel like the blacksheep cousin of the Bat-family. C
NickZ: This is the first time this felt like a Batman book. The people killing themselves was crazy.

Arnab: Hilarious. Light-hearted. Exactly what you need after a major event. This is just the book Johnny needed to reintegrate back into the Marvel Universe. A

Arnab: That was a great way of incorporating story time with fighting time. The art is without a doubt one of the best in all of DC. A

The New Avengers #25 (Marvel)

Arnab: In a book featuring many super powered teenagers and adults, Tim Drake is king. A nice prelude into The Culling. B+
Infinite Speech: I wish all of the New 52 could be this fun to read on a regular basis. But they aren’t.

Uncanny X-Men #11 (Marvel)

Arnab: Christos Gage has brought new life to this series. Rogue is awesome, Wolverine is non-existant (thankfully), and am I the only wanted Mimic and Weapon Omega to share a kiss before Weapon Omega was put into a coma? A

I’m so on the opposite end of the spectrum concerning Scott’s letter. I thought it was ridiculous. Xavier needs to come in and kick everyone’s ass. I think the Avengers and the X-Men are both wrong.
What makes Xavier so special? If I’m not mistaken, he’s part of the reason this problem even exists. Him, Magneto, and the Avengers.
Jeff, I’d love for Xavier to be back in control of the X-Men. That’s part of the reason I stopped reading/buying.

Avengers vs X-Men VS #1 is completely ridiculous and stupid.
Note to Marvel writers: Magneto is the master of magnetism. He controls magnetism. Someone attacking him with magnetism should NEVER work. Whats next, someone attacks Iceman with ice from Pluto? Whoever came up with that is an idiot. Plain and simple. They should lose their job.

The letter was perfect but I do agree that Xavier should be around and have some say in what’s going on. Where the hell is he? He’s been in like 1 comic since schism.
