Batman #35 (DC)
NickZ: The fight between Talia and Selina was perfect. Selina’s line about her “nine lives” was my favorite.
Batman Who Laughs #1 (DC)
NickZ: The darkest of the Dark Knights books yet. This version of Batman is the worst.
Black Science #33 (Image)
NickZ: Another series that is masterful at building up tension to the very last page, leaving you dying to know what’s going to happen next issue!
Champions #14 (Marvel)
NickZ: I’m curious to see what’s going to become of Viv Vision after this story ends.
Darth Vader #8 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: So much awesome in this issue and we meet a Jedi librarian that is not here for you disrespecting her books!
Deadpool vs Old Man Logan #2 (Marvel)
NickZ: Not only are these people not keen on Deadpool’s help, they’re not even keen on his dated references.
Defenders #7 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: David Marquez and Justin Ponsor kick off the best martial arts fight scene in comics this week and Bendis kills it again with everything great that happened!
Descender #26 (Image)
NickZ: All hell breaks loose, a new player emerges, and then book 5 just ends?!? Lemire and Nguyen sure know how to keep you hungry for more.
Doctor Strange #381 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: Loki texting was hilarious and I’m definitely on board to see where Cates is taking this.
NickZ: Loki is definitely a more interesting Sorcerer Supreme than Strange, I’ll give him that.
Guardians of the Galaxy #147 (Marvel)
NickZ: The Guardians have officially gotten into the the Infinity Gem game!
Incidentals #4 (Lion Forge)
Infinite Speech: WFT is going on with Bo??? Taylor came through in the clutch! Casey and Stroman deliver on another great universe building issue and I’m here to see how wild it gets!
Invincible #142 (Image)
NickZ: The “Robot War” story felt super rushed. They knew the series is ending and needed to wrap up this one loose end so they did it haphazardly with everything working out too damn conveniently. Very lazy writing but at least it looked great.
Justice League #33 (DC)
NickZ: Every victory against the Dark Knights ends up being one step forward and two steps back!
Mech Cadet Yu #4 (BOOM!)
Infinite Speech: Greg Pak deserves a round of applause for this series! Get it for the kids and yourself if you’re not one!
Mighty Thor #701 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: War Thor got his a** beat for almost 22 pages and it was great!
Ninja-K #1 (Valiant)
Infinite Speech: This is the series to read for the hype ninja action, deep cover espionage, and wonderful comic book moments!
Peter Parker The Spectacular Spider-Man #297 (Marvel)
NickZ: After the big revelation in the last issue, things between Jameson and Spider-Man will never be the same and I don’t think I can ever get use to this new “status quo”.
Postal #24 (Top Cow)
NickZ: Not since Batman have I seen someone better at contingency plans than Laura Shiffron. Why must this series come to an end?
Infinite Speech: Why is this ending?! Hill made me a believer in this series and it’s just too damn good!
Spider-Men II #4 (Marvel)
Infinite Speech: I’m scratching my head as to why this is important again because nothing exciting or relevant seems to be happening.
Superman #35 (DC)
NickZ: The Kent family have fared surprisingly well on Apocalypse, all things considered.
Super Sons #10 (DC)
NickZ: The “Fortress of Attitude” is my new favorite thing.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #76 (IDW)
Infinite Speech: So many twists in this and I’m rooting for the Triceratons! Thank you Tom Waltz & Damian Courceiro for that cliffhanger too!
Trinity #15 (DC)
NickZ: When will villains learn not to underestimate Batman? Come on, he’s FRIGGING BATMAN!
The Wicked + The Divine #33 (Image)
NickZ: In a series that has had many crazy twists and turns, the last page of this issue takes the cake as most shocking/surprising!
X-Men Blue #15 (Marvel)
NickZ: It’s bad when you know that a Mojo News Network on earth wouldn’t be the worst news channel we currently have on TV.
