Merry Christmas!
At 25 years old, this is my first Christmas away from Buffalo, NY, and thus my first away from my parents. I admit; I miss seeing a fresh layer of snow sparkling in the moonlight early Christmas morning. Watching the sun rise as its rays shine light on the Christmas tree and the arrangement of presents beneath it. I miss dad’s corny jokes and mom’s happiness at seeing me open that special gift she knew I’d like the most… A sigh and a slow exhale accompanied with a smile and I fondly remember Buffalo, NY, and the memories I’ve had there on this day.
While those memories will always be in my heart, change is good too; this is my first Christmas in Los Angeles where the sun is shining bright and I’m comfortably dressed in a long sleeve shirt and pants in 66 degree weather. With our friends comfortably at home for the holidays, the Lady and I decided to spend our day at Universal Studios Hollywood! So while the tradition of the past 24 years may not have been possible today, this snowless Christmas is still every bit as special as the ones before it.
I hope your day is full of joy and that Santa brought you that special toy! Now for today’s assortment of Christmas themed comic book covers:

Grimm FT looks pretty good!
The Adventures of Chrissie Claus looks ridiculous. Maybe it will be featured in a future Wacky Comic Wednesday…
