The last page of this one really kicks you in the feels too.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Amazing Spider-Man #20 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Infinite Speech:<\/strong> Doctor Ock’s return is validated right here and it’s pretty damn good.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>All-New X-Men #14 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Arnab:<\/strong> Are these yahoos a team or not?<br \/>\n<strong>NickZ<\/strong>: A very cute Cyclops story, I guess.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Aquaman #9 (DC)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Infinite Speech:<\/strong> This is the Aquaman series I’ve waited years to enjoy.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Astro City #40 (Vertigo)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Martin:<\/strong> 4.5\/5 stars. Another fantastic issue that covers the life of an “ordinary” person whose life is touched by a superhero.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/comicattack.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/1733a28f-90a3-4da7-b2ca-3dca555f49f2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-130286\" src=\"https:\/\/comicattack.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/1733a28f-90a3-4da7-b2ca-3dca555f49f2-195x300.jpg\" alt=\"1733a28f-90a3-4da7-b2ca-3dca555f49f2\" width=\"195\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Batman #9 (DC)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Arnab:<\/strong> Hold up. Catwoman is in jail for killing how many people? When did this happen?<br \/>\n<strong>Infinite Speech<\/strong>: Batman assembles his own Suicide Squad? Now I’m interested.<br \/>\n<strong>Martin<\/strong>: 4.5\/5 stars. Start of a new arc & this 1 looks great, both story-&-art-wise. The scenes of Batman recruiting a new team are great<br \/>\n<strong>NickZ<\/strong>: I had my doubts about this Suicide Squad story but it is really good so far. My only question is when did Selina get locked up?<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>The Beauty #11 (Image)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> NickZ:<\/strong> Revenge has never looked this good or tasted this sweet.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Black Panther #7 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong>Infinite Speech:<\/strong> There’s a lot of action here but it’s not great action.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Captain America: Sam Wilson #14 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Infinite Speech:<\/strong> Going to need Sam to beat the crap out of Hydra Cap soon.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Cyborg #3 (DC)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Infinite Speech:<\/strong> Not understanding the retreading of what David Walker JUST DID!! Skip this one.<br \/>\n<strong>Martin<\/strong>: 3\/5 stars. The story of “does Vic have a soul?” seems to be dragging and it’s only issue #3. Let’s hope it gets wrapped up soon.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Dark Knight III: The Master Race #6 (DC)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Martin<\/strong>: 3\/5 stars. At this point, I honestly don’t know much what’s going on, & I’m rapidly losing interest.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Deadpool Back In Black #2 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> NickZ:<\/strong> Spider-Venom-Pool, Power Kids, and a drunk clown stop an alien invasion! No, really!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Deadpool Too Soon? #1 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> NickZ:<\/strong> Possibly the most ridiculous Deadpool story I’ve ever read, but it has some good jokes and great art by Todd Nauck.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Death of X #2 (Marvel)<a href=\"https:\/\/comicattack.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/death-of-x-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-130295\" src=\"https:\/\/comicattack.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/death-of-x-2-198x300.jpg\" alt=\"death-of-x-2\" width=\"198\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> Arnab:<\/strong><\/span> This whole Emma\/Scott secret better be a fucking doozy if they’re gonna make him act a fool.<br \/>\n<strong>Infinite Speech<\/strong>: Can’t believe I’m defending Cyclops but Marvel seems to be forcing him to be the bad guy here.<br \/>\n<strong>NickZ<\/strong>: Cyclops would never do or say the things they are having him do in this series. It’s lazy storytelling and disgraceful towards the X-Men’s legacy.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Doctor Strange #13 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> NickZ: <\/strong>It’s great seeing Strange have to be more clever in defeating his enemies with his limited powers.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Faith #4 (Valiant)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Infinite Speech<\/strong>: Want to have some fun? Read Faith because Jody Houser brings out the true heart of a hero in this series!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Green Arrow #9 (DC)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Martin:<\/strong> 4\/5 stars. Yet another “Ollie is stuck on an island” story, but actually works. The character relationships & art sell it.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Green Lanterns #9 (DC)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Martin:<\/strong> 4.5\/5 stars. 1-off story about a man who REALLY wants to be chosen as a Green Lantern. Creepy art adds to the story.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Horizon #4 (Image)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong>Infinite Speech:<\/strong> This series keeps delivering great action and characters with every issue! I’m riding with Horizon until the wheels fall off!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Infamous Iron Man #1 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Infinite Speech<\/strong>: Not a great intro but the question of what drives Doom is a pretty important one.<br \/>\n<strong>NickZ<\/strong>: I am very intrigued by this book and was a bit surprised by the Civil War spoilers.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/comicattack.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/jem-20.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-130297\" src=\"https:\/\/comicattack.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/jem-20-195x300.jpg\" alt=\"jem-20\" width=\"195\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Jem & the Holograms #20 (IDW)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Infinite Speech<\/strong>: Is it cheating if your hologram persona is going on the date? This can’t end well at all for Jerrica.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Joyride #6 (Boom!)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> NickZ:<\/strong> Another intriguing issue. I love these characters. Their fantastic adventures kinda remind me of Voltron.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Justice League #7 (DC)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Martin:<\/strong> 4\/5 stars. Interesting character study, pairing off League members & delving into what they don’t like about each other.<br \/>\n<strong>NickZ<\/strong>: That’s an interesting way to end a story. It reminded me of the end of the Buffy musical episode.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Mockingbird #8 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Martin:<\/strong> 5\/5 stars. My comic of the week. So many fun, clever, inside jokes and Easter eggs with fantastic art & a smart sensibility.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Mighty Thor #12 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Infinite Speech:<\/strong> Mjolnir gets an origin story and it’s GREAT! Frazier Irving needs to be on a monthly title again too.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Nightwing #7 (DC)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Martin<\/strong>: 4\/5 stars. Raptor continues to evolve into a really interesting character, & the Bat Family cameos make this a stand-out issue.<br \/>\n<strong>Arnab:<\/strong> My bet is on uncle. Or creepy admirer from afar. But uncle sounds better.<br \/>\n<strong>NickZ:<\/strong> Okay, it took 7 whole issues but I am finally interested in this book.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Night’s Dominion #2 (Oni Press)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Martin:<\/strong> 4\/5 stars. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Perfect<\/span> read for fantasy lovers. Magus, Assassin, Thief, Bard & Acolyte meet in a tavern. It’s D&D as comic!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Ninjak #20 (Valiant)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Infinite Speech:<\/strong> Ninjak makes every team up pure gold!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Raven #2 (DC)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Martin:<\/strong> 3.5\/5 stars. Good look into Raven, & a good mix of comedy, mystery, & teen angst. Some transitions between scenes are confusing.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Superman #9 (DC)<a href=\"https:\/\/comicattack.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/superman-9.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-130294\" src=\"https:\/\/comicattack.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/superman-9-195x300.jpg\" alt=\"superman-9\" width=\"195\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Martin:<\/strong> 4\/5 stars. My favorite Superman book right now – knows how to have fun with a homage to both Darwyn Cooke & the Silver Age.<br \/>\n<strong>NickZ<\/strong>: This is officially my favorite run on a Superman book… ever! Jon’s expressions in every panel are priceless!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Symmetry #8 (Top Cow)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> NickZ:<\/strong> This was a very good, thought provoking series. I hope some of you read it so we get another arc.<br \/>\n<strong>Infinite Speech: <\/strong>Symmetry keeps elevating what comic book storytelling can be!<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Thomas Alsop Vol 2 (BOOM!)<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Infinite Speech: <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">There’s a visceral realness in this supernatural story that makes New York City as much a character as it’s inhabitants. READ THIS SERIES FOLKS!<\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Trinity #2 (DC)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Martin:<\/strong> 4\/5 stars. Perfect timing w\/ a lovely depiction of Smallville in Autumn, but should focus on all 3 characters, not just Superman.<br \/>\n<strong>NickZ<\/strong>: This literally had me in tears. Francis Manapul spoke to fathers and sons everywhere as he gave tribute to his own.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #13 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong>NickZ:<\/strong> Doreen, Ant-Man, and the entire squirrel fam having a very fun, very odd Canadian adventure in true SG fashion!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Uncanny Inhumans #14 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> NickZ:<\/strong> The most anti-climatic ending ever!
