But like, I would have done the same, plus putting that snotnosed Chief of Staff in his place.<br \/>\n<strong>Martin<\/strong>: 3.5\/5 stars. Still enjoying the political intrigue in this book, although I&#8217;m hoping the N.E.M.O. subplot speeds up.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>A Year of Marvels The Unstoppable #1 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> NickZ:<\/strong> Two cute little stories featuring Nova and Bucky. Worth the five bucks? Meh.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Batman #4 (DC)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Arnab:<\/strong> It&#8217;s issues like this where I&#8217;m like, yup, that&#8217;s why criminals exist. If the government can just unleash hell with no repercussion, why would the criminal give a shit.<br \/>\n<strong>Martin<\/strong>: 4\/5 stars. Reveals more about exactly what&#8217;s happening w\/ Gotham (the hero) &amp; reminds us that Gotham City is not a place of hope.<br \/>\n<strong>NickZ<\/strong>: NO, they did not try to recreate THAT scene from All Star Superman?<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Batman Beyond #15 (DC)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> NickZ:<\/strong> Tim Drake finally comes face to face with the recently resurrected Terry McGinnis!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Black Science #23 (Image)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> NickZ:<\/strong> This reminded me of the scene where Wart meets Madam Mim in the Sword in the Stone!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Deadpool #16 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> NickZ:<\/strong> It&#8217;s a flashback Solo adventure! (See what I did there?)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Deadpool v Gambit #3 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> NickZ:<\/strong> Gambit and Deadpool compare their s*** days with each other and hilarity ensues.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Doctor Strange #10 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> NickZ<\/strong>: &#8220;The Last Days of Magic&#8221; had a slightly anticlimactic ending but on the whole it was a great read!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Ghostbusters International #7 (IDW)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Infinite Speech:<\/strong> Once again this creative team keeps the Ghostbusters going in the right direction!<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Green Arrow #4 (DC)<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Martin:<\/strong> 4\/5 stars. Continues to be 1 of the top Rebirth books. Adds more depth to the villains and the overall story arc.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Green Lanterns #4 (DC)<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Martin:<\/strong> 3.5\/5 stars. Humphries continues to delight w\/ the fun banter between Simon &amp; Jessica, &amp; adds humor with a rogue guardian<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Justice League #2 (DC)<a href=\"https:\/\/comicattack.net\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/kill-or-be-killed-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-128701\" src=\"https:\/\/comicattack.net\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/kill-or-be-killed-1-195x300.jpg\" alt=\"kill or be killed 1\" width=\"195\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/comicattack.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/kill-or-be-killed-1-195x300.jpg 195w, https:\/\/comicattack.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/kill-or-be-killed-1-768x1182.jpg 768w, https:\/\/comicattack.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/kill-or-be-killed-1-666x1024.jpg 666w, https:\/\/comicattack.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/kill-or-be-killed-1.jpg 832w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 195px) 100vw, 195px\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Martin:<\/strong> 3\/5 stars. This book has to do a lot, from introducing the Baz\/Cruz GL dynamic to the &#8220;new&#8221; Superman. It&#8217;s a tough job.<br \/>\n<strong>NickZ<\/strong>: This story feels so epic and Tony Daniel&#8217;s art is fantastic.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Kill or Be Killed #1 (Image)<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Infinite Speech:<\/strong> I had no idea what to expect but damn this was one hell of a comic! Can&#8217;t wait for issue 2!<br \/>\n<strong>Martin<\/strong>: 4.5\/5 stars. Did NOT go the way I was expecting. A unique look at depression &amp; modern relationships with a twist.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Lady Killer 2 #1 (Dark Horse)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Infinite Speech<\/strong>: Lightening strikes twice as Josie Schuller returns as my new favorite assassin in one of the best titles from Dark Horse!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Moon Knight #5 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> NickZ:<\/strong> &#8220;Welcome to New Egypt&#8221; was so insanely trippy that it made me go a bit crazy!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Nightwing #2 (DC)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Arnab:<\/strong> If you&#8217;re going to do Dick and Babs, do Dick and Babs. If you&#8217;re not, just leave them alone, they&#8217;ve been through enough.<br \/>\n<strong>Martin<\/strong>: 4\/5 stars. Really great characterizations and backstory for Dick Grayson providing insight into how he thinks. Fun art style.<br \/>\n<strong>NickZ<\/strong>: This book is literally Grayson 2.0. The Parliament of Owls is just the new Spyral, Raptor is just the new Tiger, and well, Nightwing is just the same old Dick.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Paper Girls #8 (Image)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> NickZ:<\/strong> Paper Girls is like Stranger Things except with time travel and girls.<br \/>\nSuicide Squad Rebirth #1 (DC)<br \/>\n<strong>Martin:<\/strong> 3.5\/5 stars. It&#8217;s way better than the movie, that&#8217;s for sure!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Street Fighter x G.I. Joe #6 (IDW)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Infinite Speech:<\/strong> The story lines I made up with my toys as a kid were better &amp; made more sense.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Superman #4 (DC)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Martin<\/strong>: 3.5\/5 stars. It&#8217;s great having pre-New 52 Superman back, but this issue falters in spending too much time fighting Eradicator.<br \/>\n<strong>NickZ<\/strong>: What a strange take on the Eradicator but I&#8217;m still feeling this Superman and fam book. Also, you can&#8217;t go wrong with Bibbo!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Tokyo Ghost #9 (Image)<a href=\"https:\/\/comicattack.net\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/walking-dead-157.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-128702\" src=\"https:\/\/comicattack.net\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/walking-dead-157-195x300.jpg\" alt=\"walking dead 157\" width=\"195\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/comicattack.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/walking-dead-157-195x300.jpg 195w, https:\/\/comicattack.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/walking-dead-157-768x1182.jpg 768w, https:\/\/comicattack.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/walking-dead-157-666x1024.jpg 666w, https:\/\/comicattack.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/walking-dead-157.jpg 832w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 195px) 100vw, 195px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Infinite Speech:<\/strong> This series kicks your emotions all over the place and looks fantastic doing it!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Trees #14 (Image)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> NickZ:<\/strong> Those damn black flowers! Things are looking bleak but Jason Howard makes bleak look good!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Vote Loki #3 (Marvel)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> NickZ:<\/strong> Nisa represents the frustrations of everyone who is anti-Trump.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>The Walking Dead #157 (Image)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong> Arnab:<\/strong> I think, probably for the first time, Rick is severely underestimating his enemy. Also, how weird is it to see him sitting on a couch on the eve of battle?<br \/>\n<strong>NickZ<\/strong>: There was a very ominous feel to this issue.
