Tim Seeley and Tom King understand this character. It’s a fairly simple concept, writer’s knowing the character that they’re writing, but so often you’ll find a character being written out of character, as if the writer had never read anything with the character before. Luckily for us all, that is not the case with this title. If you’ve ever read anything with Dick Grayson before, you’ll know two things. One, even while fighting for his life, he’ll pretty much find time to crack a joke or keep things lighthearted. Two, he does not stop talking, at all. You take those two truths, add some Seeley and King, and you’ve got a singing Grayson, partnered up with an irritable Tiger, out to take down SPYRAL. 5/5

Teen Titans #16
Writers: Will Pfeifer
Artists: Miguel Mendonca, Dexter Vines, and Tony Aviña
Cover Artists: Jorge Jimenez and Alejandro Sanchez
Publisher: DC Comics

This book has seriously lost its way. When the new DC Universe took over, even with its serious mischaracterization of Tim Drake, this book was fantastic. It was arguably the team book, better even than its adult counterpart. Somewhere along the way it’s become a revolving door of chaos and dissarray. The team, if it can be called that, changes membership every four issues. Characters go from fighting each other to loving each other in a heartbeat. Kid Flash left the team, returned to the team, only to leave the team shortly after returning. If ever there were a time where a series would benefit from a reboot, this would be the case. 2.5/5

Be sure to check out previous editions of Crisis of Infinite Reviews by clicking here!

Arnab Pradhan
arnab@comicattack.net

Grayson #16 Writers: Tim Seeley and Tom King Artists: Mikel Janin and Jeremy Cox Cover Artists: Mikel Janin and Jeremy Cox Publisher: DC Comics Hands down the most entertaining issue of the week.
