Straight from the sewers, Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey are back in the newest version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! The latest animated adventure will hit theaters this summer and boasts a style that’s reminiscent of the groundbreaking Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse but still has it’s own flavor. Backed by A Tribe Called Quest’s Can I Kick It? the first trailer shows that there’s an emphasis on “teenage” focusing on a younger version of the brothers before we get a quick mention of their backstory via the “ooze”.
Much of the voice cast has already been revealed with Nicholas Cantu, Michah Abbey, Brady Noon, and Shamon Brown Jr., as Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo. Joining them will be Jackie Chan as Master Splinter, Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil, Giancarlo Esposito as Baxter Stockman, Seth Rogan as Bebop, John Cena as Rocksteady, Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko, Ice Cube as Superfly, Hannibal Buress as Genghis Frog, Maya Rudolph as Cynthia Utrom, Rose Byrne as Leatherhead, Natasia Demetriou as Wingnut, and Post Malone as Ray Fillet.
