The trailer everyone has been asking about is finally here as we get our first look at Odinson’s next journey in the new Thor: Love and Thunder trailer!
With Guns N’ Roses’ Sweet Child O’ Mine playing in the background it looks as if Thor’s time the Guardians of the Galaxy has come to an end and he’s looking for some purpose after the events of Ragnorok. Claiming that his superheroing days are over Thor’s back to being solo-ish and we’re caught up in a whirlwind of character shots and some very comic accurate sequences. Along with the Guardians (with the noticeably missing Gamora) we see Thor’s old friend, Korg and It also looks as if King Valkyrie is over the bureaucracy of her new role. However, the biggest reveal is the return of Jane Foster in her new role as Goddess of Thunder!
We only get a glimpse of Russell Crowe as Zeus so that probably means there’s going to be a lot of lightning when these two meet. No Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher yet but we’ll get all we can handle when Thor: Love and Thunder hits theaters on July 8th!
