After teases and production shots from the upcoming Titans live action series we finally get a legit trailer that throws you into this new and quite dark world of young DC heroes. And by “dark” I’m not just talking about a brooding character and sad events. I’m talking bloody, bone breaking, visceral fights and language reserved for late night cable. Letting you know that TV-MA rating is there for a reason.
The trailer focuses on Raven (Teagan Croft) who is searching for help and ends up meeting Dick Grayson/Robin (Brenton Thwaites) who is a detective. As we see how scared she is of her own abilities we get to see Robin in action and a strong hint that he and Batman aren’t on the best of terms at the moment. We also get a glimpse of Beast Boy (Ryan Potter), Starfire (Anna Diop), Hawk (Alan Ritchson), and Dove (Minka Kelly) throughout all of the action.
Titans is kicking off DC Universe which is DC Entertainment’s new streaming service and will be joined by Swamp Thing, Doom Patrol, and the long awaited Young Justice: Outsiders along with more content.

A lot better looking than what I thought was going to happen but what the hell made Robin so damn mad at Batman??
