Much like ’10 Cloverfield Lane’, ‘Cloverfield Paradox’, originally titled ‘God Particle’, is mostly set in one location, a space station in outer space. I actually like this approach, and with films like ‘Gravity’ and ‘Life,’ we’ve seen how space can give someone the jitters.
However, Earth is in some serious danger, and we need energy. Which is why in ‘Cloverfield Paradox’, our scientists are sent aboard the Cloverfield station to harness an accelerator to help supply Earth. One day the station overloads with too much energy and they end up somewhere in deep space and the Earth has vanished. These scientists take all kinds of twists and turns in space where different universes have the ability to cross over and collide.
