Creators of color from every genre from super indie autobiographical to high tech sci-fi adventure were out in earnest showing off their craft and connecting with the audiences and other creators that make up the the east coast independent comics scene last weekend and it is Comic Attack.net’s distinct honor to feature some of these fantastic creators and their work in this rundown of Creators To Watch BCBF '12.
In Harlem, on 135th Street and Lenox Avenue inside the austere halls of a research center devoted to the Afro-Caribbean experience in America, a comic book festival took place; in fact this weekend is the third time it’s happened. Maybe that’s not shocking to you but that sure as hell blew my mind. Funny that about “the times” and how they keep on changing.
