‘Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins’ Teaser Trailer

The G.I. Joe franchise is back but instead of the whole team being the focus the origin of one of their most famous members comes to light in Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins. The trailer shows off some incredible action leading up to the a glimpse of Snake Eyes’ introduction into the Arashikage ninja clan.

For decades the ninja commando was a silent and faceless soldier for the Joes but in Robert Schwentke’s new film we get to see the man before the horrific moments that changed his life forever. Well, at least in the comics but hopefully the payoff is just as good here.

The title character will be played by Henry Golding and he’ll be joined by Andrew Koji as Storm Shadow,  Samara Weaving as Scarlett, Peter Mensah as Blind Master, Úrsula Corberó as Baroness, Iko Uwais as Hard Master, and Tahehiro Hira as Kenta. Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins will hit theaters July 23, 2021!

SYNOPSIS:

Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins stars Henry Golding as Snake Eyes, a tenacious loner who is welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage after saving the life of their heir apparent. Upon arrival in Japan, the Arashikage teach Snake Eyes the ways of the ninja warrior while also providing something he’s been longing for: a home. But, when secrets from his past are revealed, Snake Eyes’ honor and allegiance will be tested – even if that means losing the trust of those closest to him.
