Warner Bros. dropped the long-awaited first trailer for Shazam! Fury Of The Gods at Comic Con International! Zachary Levi returns as Shazam along with his superpowered family as they battle against the Daughters of Atlas played by Lucy Liu (Kalypso) and Hellen Mirren (Hespera). Looks as if they don’t seem to keen on a child wielding powers they feel should be theirs and bring along some heavy fire power for help.
The trailer kicks off with our hero experiencing some imposter syndrome and considering he’s in a world that has members of the Justice League saving the day you really can’t blame the kid. The rest of the family also receive plenty of screen-time during the trailer and it looks as if the Wizard, played by Djimon Hounsou, will play a larger part as well.

So far, there’s nothing hinting at Mister Mind who showed up in the post credit scene in Shazam! but hopefully we’ll see what he’s plotting at some point in the sequel. Shazam! Fury of the Gods is scheduled to be in theaters on December 21, 2022!
