NeatherRealm continues to hit the fans with great news day after day. As the close beta approaches it was revealed at C2E2 that your ninja’s favorite ninja will be joining the roster and we’ll soon be playing with Noob Saibot! Not only that but Mortal Kombat 11’s first DLC character will be Shang Tsung who will be voiced by Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa along with his likeness being used for the character he played in the live action Mortal Kombat movie!
Noob Saibot had one of the illest character plot twists when it was revealed he was the original Sub Zero killed by Scorpion! So it’s only right that he face his brother, the current Sub Zero, first in the gameplay trailer that shows off his moves. They are some of the most brutal in the game so far as we see him kick, break, and slice his way through one opponent after another!
Shang Tsung has a long history with Mortal Kombat as he was the original soul snatching host of the first game with a deep pool of moves since he could transform into other characters and use their skills against you. He’s the first of six DLC characters announced in the upcoming Kombat Pack included in the MK 11 Premier and Kollector’s Editions. Shang Tsung will also be your guide and host when you enter the Krypt and face the challenges within!
Filling out the roster so far is Scorpion, Raiden, Sub-Zero, Sonya Blade, Skarlet, Baraka, Geras, Kano, D’Vorah, Kabal, Jade, Johnny Cage, Cassie Cage, Erron Black, Jacqui Briggs, Kotal Kahn, and now Noob Saibot and Shang Tsung. Now we wait and see who’s next to bring the pain in Mortal Kombat 11!
